“Aunt Queenie with the yellow hair, why are you looking at the ground? Are you looking for something?” Queenie looked at the girl. She tried her best to hold her anger back and said, “My hair is blonde, not yellow.” “Yellow is blonde,” Isabel said as she protruded her lips. It was as if the girl wanted to provoke Queenie, and she continued, “Why did you dye your hair yellow? You look like a lion.” Sylvia almost burst into laughter. The others were rendered speechless and things got awkward again. Queenie flushed. She was angered by the remark.

There were books and papers and all sorts of things being picked up and thrown about in this indoor tornado. All of a sudden two other women appeared in the room that were just as perfect and beautiful as the queen herself. They were all dressed the same, except where the queen wore green, and had white blonde hair, one was wearing royal purple and had jet black hair, and the last one was wearing ruby red, with fire red hair. They all looked exactly alike as well. They appeared in the center of the room and they were spinning and chanting just like the queen.

She is cute and tall with her blonde curls that made her stand out and look like a real queen. Whereas I’m a bit short, chubby at the back side and busty. And I don’t have blonde curls like her and mom, I have a red head that annoys the queen each time she sees it. So I’m forced to hide my hair always. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not ugly and fat, I’m just not as beautiful as my sister and also not as confident as her. A competition is organized to chose the girls that would be auctioned to the alpha’s. The winners will stay back in the pack to bear more she-wolves to grow the pack while the losers are sold out to kings and Alpha’s to be their Luna.

Solomon added a bit of red wine to the chalice and passed it to the girls who each took a sip. They immediately felt a rush of power along with the voices of the pack members congratulating them. Selene and Nahla turned to their mates proudly with huge smiles, the brothers just stared at them with so much love and pride. “I am honored to present to you, the Queens of Lycan’s and Werewolves. The Luna's of Silver Moon, Queen Selene and Queen Nahla”, Solomon boomed to the pack. Howls of acceptance erupted and those who could not shift clapped and hollered. The girls were quickly engulfed by the strong arms of their mates who kissed them passionately with abandon.

Ysabella ultimately decided to go. Everyone in the room could finally exhale a sigh of relief. The previous hour had been so tense that they thought the runway, which was used for the catwalk, would be a catfight arena. They were relieved it did not happen. All of the staff members were relieved that Clarissa was able to maintain her composure and act so gracefully. She was so composed the entire time that she didn't even raise her voice when Ysabella attempted to provoke her. But even before Ysabella left the room, she shouted “Remember this Clarissa – there is only one queen here in BC Models. And definitely, that’s not you. It’s me!”

In his rush of adrenaline, he had completely forgotten that there were still males around the castle, now, about twenty guards surrounded him with their eyes fixed solely on Daphne. “Move”, he growled with so much authority, it shook the atmosphere but none of them did as they were told. It was simply the power of the Heat of The Luna Queen. It gave all men immunity to orders, even those straight from the alpha king himself. The luna queen was said to have the strongest and most capturing scent out of all the female lycans, this made all the want her and their eyes were fixed on the prize. “Move”, he repeated, just to receive the same reply.

However, he noticed the ambiguous undertone in Adrian’s voice—it felt out of the ordinary. Just then, one of his subordinates pulled open Sarah’s blouse, revealing a vast expanse of fair, lustrous skin. The bruises and purple marks left by kisses stood out starkly, especially the plum-blossom-shaped mark above her collarbone—it was exceptionally vivid and conspicuous, clearly fresh.
