Then nodded once. “I am.” Without another word, the Moon Goddess reached into her cloak and pulled out a small bowl made of bone and crystal. She set it before the fire, then made a shallow cut on Gracie’s palm. Gracie flinched but didn’t pull away. The blood fell into the bowl. A single drop. Then the goddess cut a line across her own palm silver blood shimmered from her skin , and added it to the bowl.
