It was as smooth as honey, but you could tell that it held a power that was unimaginable. Selena could feel some form of fear, but she felt safe nevertheless. She released a shaky breath and then said, “You’re…you’re her. You’re the Moon goddess, aren’t you?” The goddess chuckled freely. “I am,” She replied. “I am the one whom you have told everyone you don’t believe in.”

“I can feel it. It’s calling me. From the center of the courtyard, a pillar of crimson light burst upward, and the shadow within it began to take form — massive, skeletal, wearing a thousand faces of despair.
