I grab a notepad and pen and march to the table, already smelling trouble.
Karina is chatting with her friends, sipping a Cosmopolitan.

Karina turns, and her whole face lights up like she’s just won the lottery.
“Well, well, well. Ladies — isn’t this the Luna of our pack?” She giggles, mocking me. “Maya, so drugging Harvey wasn’t enough? Now you’re humiliating him further by playing Cinderella?”
