"No! No! No-not the blood moon. " She shook her head vigorously and proceeded to rush inside, but something liquid dripped on her body, and she glanced at her arm only to see red fluid on her arm. She screamed and wiped it off her body. "The rain of blood." She clutched her body and shut her eyes. But just then, cries from people began to echo in her ears, and she turned around only to see the cracks on the ground becoming bigger, causing some of the people to fall into the space it created.

"She didn't know who the sender was, but she was told that you do." Raziel frowned before taking the paper from him. He straightened it, but what he saw made his brows to furrow even more. Lorenzo turned alert. He didn't see what was written, but he had a feeling that it was not something pleasant. The maid that gave it to him even seemed scared. The person that had given it to her must have scared her. Raziel said what was written in red, or maybe it was blood was; "BLOOD WILL RAIN."

Taken from far away, probably by someone with a telephoto lens who shouldn’t have been there. He’s on a balcony. In a wheelchair. His face is turned away from the camera but I can still see enough. He looks like a ghost. Like someone who’s already dead but doesn’t know it yet. I did this. My brother did this. I close my eyes, and I can see it. The crash. The sirens. Lily’s face on the news. “I’m so sorry,” I whisper. My voice breaks. I don’t know if I’m apologizing to him or to Lily or to myself.

As I fell into danger, Jake put up a fight, his limbs ripping. Despite being drenched in blood, he bolted toward me and pounded my attacker on the head. Blood spilled all over the concrete floor, either coming from Jake or the rogue. Anna let out a shriek. It was total mayhem. “Joey!” Anna shouted. Through the madness, a massive black wolf came charging from a distance with incredible speed. I knew that it was Joey, my aloof mate. It never crossed my mind that Joey had shared a mind link with Anna.

Deliberate. Mia. I step back and look at it, heart pounding, mouth dry. “Blood still counts,” I say quietly. And then I start planning how to burn everything down.

But I just could not help it any longer, being face to face with a wolf had everything flooding into my brain, and I wanted to scream my lungs out. Blood. It was blood that I saw. My parents' blood, spilled on the wooden floor around their heads. I saw their lifeless eyes and still bodies, and wounded faces. I saw my eleven year old self crying and screaming for them to wake up and look at me again, to call me their baby again. But that did not happen, it never happened. And I saw the people that had done that to them, their smug faces and crooked smirks, their hands stained with the blood of my parents, and the set of tattoos on one of their forearms.

("Veins, blood, heaven!) The words echoed through the courtyard, amplified by the eerie silence. The red glow above intensified, and suddenly, thick droplets began falling from the sky. At first I thought it was just rain, but then a string metallic smell hit my nostrils. I looked down at my hands, it was stained red! Blood had began raining down upon us, splattering the ground, the pack members, and me. I gasped, shocked by what I was witnessing, color drained from my face and the good I had managed to hold down earlier, was in my throat again. The blood soaked through my gown, pulling me down with its weight. Mary’s chant grew louder, her eyes flashing with an otherworldly energy:

she said. “That is not an answer,” I spat, my knuckles white as I gripped the bottle. “I saw someone in there… people don't turn into puddles of neon ink. My late wife is dead, and yet I just saw her. She frightened Rain so much that she lost consciousness and this... thing... was trying to get to her. Give me a name. Give me a reason.” She remained unmoved. “For now, whoever is using that blue blood cannot function anymore. The link is severed. You have nothing to worry about - ever.”

In the blink of an eye, it became a gloomy sky. Patter! A raindrop fell on Ding Hao's palm. Ding Hao was staring at it. The color of the raindrop was... crimson. "Is it blood?" Pit-a-pat! Heavy rain poured down. There were lines of raindrops in the air and they formed a curtain of rain. It was a red curtain of rain. Every drop of rain was as red as blood. They were sparkling. The scene was extremely weird. It looked as if the sky were bleeding.

The coppery smell blood of the young man I had punched and pinned to the ground filled my nose. One way in, several ways out, and I chose the easiest way to get back to Rose's apartment, in her bathroom, so I could wash myself off that fucker’s blood. She might be back from her date. I could see her collected step as she walked into her bedroom and then her bathroom. She took me by surprise by showing up in here naked; it was nice to see her in her birthday suit, but it wasn't what I needed to see right now; it could spark up the portion of my brain that had her name engraved on it.
