With the shivering hand, I took the needle out from the small rectangular box and pressed into his index finger, blood oozed out of his finger like a waterfall and I placed a glass plate beside the flow and stored some amount of blood. Quickly, I wiped his finger with the cotton but the blood flow doesn't stop a bit. Without thinking I brought the tip of his index finger to my mouth and sucked until the flow stopped. He, on the other hand, shut his eyes tightly like he is controlling his beast, the vein in his neck popped visibly that sent a chill to my spine.

My canines and claws retracted, satisfied with their slaughter. I dipped my fingers into the warm blood that cascaded in a stream from his neck as he bled out. I inhaled deeply the metallic fragrance. I held my hand up in the moonlight as the blood trickled down my fingers. I devoured every bead off of my fingers, savoring the flavor of death. I crouched as I dipped my index finger back into his warm neck before dragging it through the dirt by the corpse. I internally chuckled to myself, I channeled my inner child finger painting. Once I was satisfied with my message I stretched before taking to the trees once again.

Especially if that person was trying to quickly make his get away. I searched beneath the pieces of cloth feeling a sharp pain shoot up from my fingers. I hissed, bringing my hand out of the pile instinctively. Thick red liquid flowed from the little cut on my middle finger, i winced feeling the sting of pain course through my body once more. Blood!. I brought my injured finger to my mouth, sucking on it. The metallic sour taste filled my tongue......it was indeed blood. That meant something sharp was hidden beneath the scraps of red cloth. Gently, i picked out each scraped fabric - piece by piece, revealing a steel sharp razor that laid idly on the floor.

I immediately sucked the blood on my finger and Beth's eyes grew bigger at what I did. "What are you doing?!"Beth asked me emphatically. "I suck to stop the bleeding" I replied. She sighed at what I said.I was disgusted with myself as to why I was careless.The bleeding on my finger stopped but it was still painful.I just couldn't stop the pain.But i still brought the food to put down on the table.

I didn’t understand what he was about to do or get the chance to retaliate when I did as he instantly grabbed one of my fingers and snapped it off. He snapped it completely off my hand and I groaned loudly in pain now as I watched myself bleed from the spot where one of my fingers once occupied. I could see just the remnant bone of that finger and the horror of the sight scared me. And while the Dark One reveled in his win, I realized something else that scared me. I was on the verge of falling now.
