They filed out of the office into the main hallway, where the magnolia paint was peeling off the walls in places, revealing a pale green underneath. "Psychiatric green", El had once told her, thought to be a calming colour. Lucas took off down the hall, slamming a locker door as he went. "Well, that's just great," El grumbled.

But I just could not help it any longer, being face to face with a wolf had everything flooding into my brain, and I wanted to scream my lungs out. Blood. It was blood that I saw. My parents' blood, spilled on the wooden floor around their heads. I saw their lifeless eyes and still bodies, and wounded faces. I saw my eleven year old self crying and screaming for them to wake up and look at me again, to call me their baby again. But that did not happen, it never happened. And I saw the people that had done that to them, their smug faces and crooked smirks, their hands stained with the blood of my parents, and the set of tattoos on one of their forearms.

And he didn't miss a chance to use his looks to his advantage by dating half the population of girls and fucking everyone of them before breaking up with each other. Not to mention, he was crazy intelligent too and used his chance to tutor girls which normally turned to make out sessions or hookups. He was the exact version of Dave, except he didn't have an influential background and he didn't bully innocent people into doing what they didn't want to. And that's one of the many reasons why I fell in love with Thomas.
