Come with me.” The others protest, but she silences them. “Do as he says. Hide. I’ll find you.” The wolves disperse, quietly disappearing into the darkness. Maya was right, they’re very good at being invisible. I open the door to my room, and Mary recoils. “A vampire.”

I immediately turned towards the sound and stopped running. Maria swiftly grabbed my arm when I stopped running "Have you lost your mind, huh?" snapped Maria. I'm just stunned to see the situation in front of me. A woman standing expressionlessly with her fingernails covered in blood, she had just broken the neck of an abnormally sized wolf. Forest wolf with dense black fur and abnormal size was lying helplessly in front of the woman. "Nessa?" said Maria. I stuttered uncertainly, taking turns looking at Maria and the woman named Nessa.

Olivia asked. Mary nodded with a chuckle. "I am fine. I heal faster than humans but slightly slower than werewolves, so there is no reason to worry. I'm as good as new now!" "Because you're a Briarwolf?" Olivia asked. Mary's eyes darkened as she looked at the others in the room but she nodded quickly. Sorry, Olivia mouthed to her friend. "We already knew," Flor said, not taking his gaze from the news playing on the screen.

I wait for her. After a few minutes, a knock hits the door and it opens. I smile when I see that it’s Mary, she steps in, locking the door from behind. Hey, you? She says and I walk toward her, hugging her immediately like it is a miracle that she’s here. What? I’m not going anywhere. She says and I hold her hands. I walk her to the window and we can see what is going on as wolves are running wild. Everyone is stripping naked and changing to their forms to run free and wild.

But, just when she was about to recharge out her hand for the stick, Mary's scream was heard again, and before she could react, the Carnifex speedily ran off in the direction of the sound. "Oh no!" She said and quickly stood, the wolf standing on all fours. "We have to hurry. Who knows what Mary was fighting against?" Audrey said and, once again, ran off with Regal; this time, their speed was increased, and urgency in the sounds of their feet and paws as they pounded on the earth. They quickly reached there before the Carnifex did. It was another huge clearing, and at the center, warriors were gathered around Mary, who was held hostage by a Flesh golem.

I have wanted to visit her in the cage since I worked out what the difference in the scents of blood on the cloth was. As we get closer to the Grey Fires pack territory, I slowly lose my battle with my wolf, wanting some more fun with the females in my possession. The next sound that left his lips was a blood-curdling scream. The woman cupped the sides of Blaze’s face so firmly he couldn’t move his head. Her head was thrown back and her eyes were closed in deep concentration. And for the next three minutes, Blaze screamed as the woman did her thing. By the time she was satisfied with whatever information she’d extracted from Blaze, his eyes were empty charred sockets and he was no longer making any sound. Blaze was dead. “Mary?” The second cloaked figure looked at the woman anxiously. “The wolves. They have him.” Mary couldn’t mask her shock. She couldn’t help but wonder how that particular pack had gotten to know who Troy was.

She yelled, but he growled, attacking her even more. Just as Mary had told me, it was Mia, and she was now fighting against Aric. "Did you really think you could betray me, and get away with it? You think you can get your happily ever after? No way!" She growled again. I was stunned to hear Aric gasping. Mary was a regular wolf. Yet, she was able to finish him off. "It's a good think that Wolf'sbane syringe worked just fine!" She screamed again, but started laughing like a maniac.
