Centuries have passed and that girl, even when it's tough for me to concede, is probably dead. Thus, another girl, a grown-up lady is always appearing. This dilemma has been present for ever since year 2018 started, goddamn it! I paved my way through the Italian bar. The entrance was covered with beautiful and pink flowers with the neon letters La Fleur. You wouldn't expect that inside it was a bar full of monsters doing drugs, sex, and feeding on people. I saw a familiar man coming out of the counter and making his way to me. I grinned at him and nodded, letting my red pupil show – a way to greet your co-vampires. He did the same too.

Or a warning drum. The Mireblossom glows faintly in the center, nestled in a bed of waterlogged roots and thick vines. It looks like moonlight trapped in a petal. But I do not move. Because the storm is not just above me anymore. It is around me. As if it wants to devour me whole.

XXIII – Danse Macabre Darkness was the first thing he sees. Everything was black, nothingness. Jin blinked. Why was everything so dark? Confused, he blinked again. And that was when the world righted itself once more when he found that he was somehow, in some way… lying in the middle of a garden filled with the choicest of flowers that the earth could ever behold. Pink, yellow, white, blue, violet, and red… Each and every single one of the flowers around him seemed to dance to the invisible tune of a soft, summer breeze.

The Shadow of Strife battled furiously, endeavoring to snuff out the blooms' delicate gleam, but we stood united against it. As we channeled our energy and tended to the blossoms, their light developed more grounded, pushing the malicious constraint back into the shadows. The Shadow of Friction thundered in disappointment because it was constrained to withdraw, leaving the island washed within the delicate brilliance of the sundown blossoms once more. The Sunset Attendants assembled around us, gratitude and help sparkling in their eyes. "You've ensured the harmony of our domain," one of them said, their voice filled with feeling. "You're the exemplification of solidarity."

The Witness reached the front of the group. “We can't return the time you lost.” Aurel lowered his gaze. “No.” “We can't undo what happened.” “No.” “We can't erase the loneliness.” The darkness trembled. “No.” The Witness smiled sadly. “But we're here now.” The Sea shone brighter. The blooming tree released another cascade of silver flowers. This time, none vanished. Every blossom remained. Every blossom remembered. Aurel closed his eye. For a long moment, nobody spoke. Then the darkness began changing.

The darkness surrounding him could best be define as hell. Suddenly the light itself started moving and was getting closer to him, without him moving or running the light itself kept getting closer and closer to him. He wasn’t aware of this because his head was still bent, the light got nearer and eventually shunned brightly when the light got to him. Hans shot up his head at once covering his eyes from the blinding light. The light died down with Cheryl Blossom walking elegantly and gracefully to him in all white. She smiled taking the smile of a beauty goddess. She walked taking the step of a Queen.

But I pushed forward, knowing we had no choice. “Do you see anything?” I asked, my voice low as if speaking any louder would disturb whatever ancient forces lingered here. “No,” Xavier replied, his hand brushing against mine as we moved. “But we’re close. I can feel it.” Suddenly, a faint glow appeared ahead of us. It was soft at first, barely noticeable, but as we drew nearer, the source became clear. In the center of a small cavern, illuminated by the faintest glimmer of light from the cave’s icy walls, stood a single flower—a Nightshade Blossom. Its petals were black as midnight, and they seemed to shimmer with a faint, otherworldly glow.

For a heartbeat, the vision of the Hollow Queen and the Exiled Light is eclipsed by the black bloom — its petals stretching greedily toward their threads. And from the dark beneath all realms, a voice not meant for gods whispers into the chamber: “Mine.”
