A towel. “For your face,” he said simply, his voice low. I blinked. “Oh. Um… thanks.” I reached for it, brushing my forehead awkwardly, avoiding his gaze — but of course, that’s when a damp strand of hair chose rebellion and fell across my cheek. Before I could push it back, he moved — his hand halfway to my face, about to tuck it behind my ear. I reacted fast and did it myself. Still, he was close enough that I caught the faint scent of his cologne — something sharp, expensive, masculine. Boadicea the Victorious. The real deal. Even the fake costs a fortune.

I’ve had enough. On my way to open the bathroom door, I grab a different bottle of cologne. Something besides the Marco de Polo, I usually wear. Instead of the sporty, lemon zest, this cologne sweetens me, like a cinnamon-and-clove- infused bottle of bourbon. I spray under my shirt, then move to the back and sides of my neck, and finally my wrists. The minute I step outside the bathroom, Reid says, “Wow, done already?I thought for sure you’d need at least another hour.”

Feeling giddy, Mikayla put on the bracelet and did a little spin for the guests. It was a cerulean blue open back gown with marshmallow white ombre at the bottom with white flowers embroidery vertically on top. It was a rather simple yet stunning design. Clara had never said it out loud but blue was actually one of her favorite color, as an artist, she was not supposed to have a single favorite color but if she had to choose, she would go with blue over and over again.

I asked and i was so glad when she nodded. "Yes we do but it's just remaining two in the store,colour blue and pink,the pink is in this same size and the blue is a bit bigger" She said and i almost jumped. Blue will be perfect for Mig! "That will be perfect..please can i have them" I said. "Ok ma'am, give me a minute" She said and walked away. Wow... that's so cool .. Fleur and i are gonna rock the pink while Mig will put on the blue.

Halfway down, Irina stepped out of a dark alcove clutching a clipboard and greeted her. "Irina, where is that jasmine scent coming from?" She said, trying to trace the scent. "You can smell that, dear?" "Yes, of course. What is it?" "You mustn't tell anyone that you can smell that," she whispered and pulled her to one side. "You need to leave it alone." Sapphira pulled back sharply. Irina's face was pale as she straightened, "enjoy the ball, dear." The dark hallway swallowed the tiny woman before Sapphira could say anything more.

Marc threatened agression coating his words. Colton smirks, “I’m just the messenger” I smooth down my sweater, rubbing at my hand to wipe off his touch, I take a moment to notice that he would have been handsome if he weren’t such a creep. “I accept your challenge” the voice is low, deep. I jerk back, my head snapping to the side, how long has he been there? In a white shirt, dark jeans, and boots, he closes the distance between us. Alpha Colton and the Luna’s eye enforcer back a few paces.

After all, you have no idea what you do to me just by being in the same room.” He whispers in my ear while fumbling with the top buttons on my silk blouse. While I run my hands through his tangled hair, I feel his hands slip under my blouse. Smelling the scent of his skin, I take in a deep breath right before he pulls it over my head. As I do, I get a whiff of Cinnamon and Spice Cologne. It’s amazing, but it fuels my desire even more than I thought possible.

The perfect Vanilla cologne with a stint of woodsy mint. She spelled like nature herself, like blooming flowers and a crystal clear sky and then my eyes cleared. It was fate, no one could tell me otherwise because I wasn’t even sure I would see her again. But there she was, standing in a small clearing, bathed in a soft, ethereal light.
