I said, my voice clipped and distant, fighting to keep myself from believing a single word he’d spoken. I hadn’t taken a single step yet when Lucian held up another picture. The picture showed a girl eating chocolate and strawberries. Based on the picture, it was not intentional that she looked at the camera, and the angle of the picture was enough to see her appearance and eye color. “This kid has blue eyes like her father.” Lucian said as he put the picture down with the other pictures. I stared at the picture he put back on the table until I saw myself walking towards the table.

She whispered and Lucy looked even sadder, especially her teary eyes. The girl looked at him and Lucy quickly averted her gaze. Ely noticed her eye feeling something. It was as if the young woman was also sad, because she thought that her sadness meant something else in her eyes. "Are you okay? I'll leave you, I need to go home." Ely said and just straightened his face. Lucy just nodded. When Ely turned away, Lucifer suddenly spoke. "Thank you, be careful coming home." Lucy said and the girl just turned to her and smiled slightly.

Because she looked miserable. When I looked into her ocean blue eyes, my wolf finally thought to open his mouth. ‘And this is that lady to whom we belong.’, I wanted to hug her and comfort her and lose myself in her sweet strawberry scent. Then, all of the sudden, Lucy placed her hand on my waist. Crystal threw her a cold, murderous look that I hadn’t seen before. . I say to Lucas as I look at the ground and kick at the rocks beneath my feet, knowing that he will be happy to be rid of me.
