Javier could tell something was happening inside of the woman's head—she's thinking hard about something, trying too hard to remember something. He subconsciously straightened his back defiantly as they studied each other from across the room. After a while, she gave up, though, her face returning to its original blank slate, eyes opening up once again to make curious eye contact only and nothing more.
The Prince couldn't help but be drawn to her cerulean blue eyes. That shade was so blue, so royal, so luxurious; it almost shook him out of his skin.
