I carefully got out, adjusting my crutches as I followed her into the salon. It was elegantly decorated on the inside but still felt like a place you could relax for a few hours. A woman with black hair was leaning on the counter popping bubble gum. “Welcome to Bea’s Beauties… Oh, Artemis. Hey girl. We didn’t expect you today. You’re not on the books till next month for that Frost event.” the girl smiled at Artemis.

“Let the steam open your pores. We’re going to make you glow like the moon itself by tonight.” “I’m already glowing from exhaustion,” I mumbled, slouching back in the chair. She swatted my arm gently. “Beauty takes time and commitment, future Luna. Now hush. Let the magic happen.” And the magic, apparently, involved facials, massages, body scrubs with weird names like ‘crystal detox blend,’ and soaking in milk and honey baths that smelled like dessert. At one point, I think I dozed off during the hot stone massage only to be jolted awake when a cold jade roller touched my face.

I was a Luna Queen. The makeup artist, a young woman with expertly applied makeup herself, began her work. She applied a lightweight foundation that matched my skin perfectly, accentuating my fair complexion without masking my natural skin tone. This was followed by a blush that imparted a rosy glow to my cheeks, making my blue eyes pop. For the eyes, she chose a soft smoky look, which further amplified their azure depth. A few coats of mascara, and my eyes transformed into mesmerizing pools of sapphire. The makeup was completed with a pink lipstick that felt feather-light on my lips, giving them a naturally flushed look.

A woman with blonde hair walked up to her and there was another woman with brown hair walking behind the blonde one. “Luna, my name is Gres. My mother works in the main house.” Gres smiled warmly. Lilly smiled back. Gres seemed very happy to meet Lilly, she could see that Gres was as kind as her gentle mother, Lis. “And this is Flora….” Gres pointed to the woman walking behind her. Lilly looked at Flora who also looked back at her flatly. It was clear to Lilly that this woman didn't like her. “I'm Flora, one of the best young female warriors in Blue Moon.” Flora introduced herself with a straight face, but even so, she still bowed and Lilly could feel that she was forced to do it.

I got this one for twenty two dollars in Walmart as well. This one was quite soft so it didn't take that long to wash. I also put it on the towel as well.
