Across the line of trees, three wolves prowl slowly in circles. Their fur is dark, sleek, each with a glowing blue batch tied to one of their legs. Their ears flick, alert. Their steps are light but confident. Those are Blue-category wolves. They have ten points each. Olivia leans close, her voice barely a breath. “I want to ambush them. If we can get even one batch, we’re ahead.”

I paced around nervously while she just laughed at me. "Calm down missy." "Calm down?, I'm meeting his mom, his freaking mother Naomi, how the hell can I be calm?" Fiona asked before leading us through the last bit of woods, directly to the shore of Seneca Lake.

Not fear of death or being caught but he looked a bit more nervous than actually scared. His silver wolf was bigger than mine, almost as big as Ahbaya’s wolf. Blue laid low and growled again.
