I lowered my arms and stared at my mother’s decomposed body. My strength felt completely drained. Derek then sent me a series of messages. As Ax carries me through the living room I see everyone is passed out. John and Adam are actually cuddling. Giana has her back to Jake, but he has his front to her. There's some space between them though. Cute. Axton starts up the stairs, and I glance up at him. He’s watching where he’s going, and I'm watching him. This close, his eyes are a vibrant blue, with swirls of green. They’re beautiful. His hair hangs over his forehead. His eyes flick down to me, and his usual smirk tugs at his lips. “Yeah, baby?” he asks, his back hitting my bedroom door.

When midday hit, I was outside, ordering an Uber, leaving my car behind. When I picked Ben up, he was excited to see me instead of “the mean man” who always picked him up. He was blubbing about the big car Amy had bought for her. In actual fact, I had been the one who bought it. I had seen a kid riding one, and I had thought, “Ben would like this.” So I had looked for the mini electric car and ordered it online. I even had it tailor-made with Bluey’s pictures on it.

Third Person's POV Seeing his prey right in front of his eyes but forced into a standstill by the steel screwdriver pressed directly against her own throat, Bentley was going absolutely crazy with frustration. "Damn it, Sabrina, what the hell are you doing?" Bentley threw his hands up in surrender, slowly backing away while sleazily trying to talk her down. "How am I not good enough for you? The Blue Night pack is incredibly powerful in Los Angeles too. If you're with me, you can have whatever luxury goods you want. So what if Zander is rich? Does the Ironspike pack's wealth have anything to do with you?"

"And please call me Elaine." "Elaine, all your children are so nice," Blue said. "Also, Mr. Brantley, I was so surprised to see that Hunter looks exactly like you. I always wondered if he got his good looks from his father, now I know. It's so wonderful, the creations of God, of this world." Dad stared at her, his expressions not giving away anything. "Uh...thanks." He was blushing, definitely. "I wonder..." Blue went on as she looked at me shyly. "I wonder if I had a son and if he would look like Hunter too, or a daughter who looked like me."
