Olympus, I pull up Bluey. We only allow them to have TV time during snack. JoJo fully believes in giving them only two choices at a time, but they typically go through either Paw Patrol, Bluey, Sesame Street or Doc McStuffins. Bluey is an all time favorite. Typically, they get to watch three episodes of the Australian dog and her sister’s adventures. Often, we as adults get pulled into the episodes as well. It’s just a really well-done show. “And now for the adult snacks,” JoJo says turning to me.

As she finished the muffin, he held out the container of blueberries, urging her to keep them as a snack for later. ‘Ready for your first day at the health centre?’ Elias asked, his voice tinged with concern.

He looks around and Merlin grins. “Take what you want, it’ll grow back before long.” Kai nods and walks down the lit path until he sees some blueberry bushes, the berries were huge and perfect, not a blemish on them. He lifts his t-shirt to form a pouch to be able to carry them and picks enough for the muffins plus a few extra handfuls. They’re one of her favourites, she could have some fresh with the muffins.

It feels… lived in. Like it was waiting for people to wake to it, to laugh and cry in it... I freshen up quickly and then pad into the kitchen barefoot and decide, without overthinking it, to bake. Muffins first. Blueberry. Remi always loved blueberry. While they’re in the oven, I inspect the fridge, there’s deli cold cuts, cheese, fruit. I pack a lunch box—sandwich with all the trimmings, cut lovingly in triangles, fruit washed and sliced, a small chocolate tucked into the corner like a secret.

“Bluey!! You finally came. For a second I thought you abandoned me and left me to rot here. Can you imagine Amanda even came here to tell me you wouldn't come and that Isabel wasn't my child, such nonsense”. Mr gold chuckled weakly. Bluey stood tall with her shiny blue dress and dark shades to hide all the evil behind her eyes. It seems blue was her favorite color just like her name. Isabel stood just beside her mother, her face nonchalant and calm.

I continued mixing the batter, folding in the blueberries when it was ready. I placed the muffin tin into the oven, and the timer started ticking down. Minutes later.... The timer had gone off, and the muffins turned out great. I wiped my flour-dusted hands on my apron and carefully lifted the warm blueberry muffin from the tin, its golden top still steaming, berries glistening with juice. The sweet, buttery aroma filled the baking area as I placed it gently on a small square of parchment paper. I folded the edges neatly around the base to catch any crumbs, then slid it into one of our sturdy brown paper takeaway bags.

When I open my eyes again, they are both staring at me, eyes dark with lust. Blushing, I finish off the brownie. “That was so good.” I say, before seeing a blueberry muffin next to me. I pick it up and pass it towards Tony, who watches me with a grin. “Here, baby. Try this. I know you love blueberries.” I offer. Chuckling, he accepts the muffin and takes a bite out of it. He moans quietly, nodding his head and turning to Nick. “You were right about going with this bakery, brother. That girl knows what she’s doing.”

She rolled her eyes. “Well, I thought you'd still be feeling bad about earlier so I brought you a muffin.” I handed her a blueberry muffin wrapped with a bright blue wrapper with red hearts on it. Digging through the trash hadn't been fun. “Thanks" she smiled at me. “No problem, eat it all." I smiled, my smile turned wicked as I watched her take a bite of the poisoned muffin. One down, lots to go….

I asked and i was so glad when she nodded. "Yes we do but it's just remaining two in the store,colour blue and pink,the pink is in this same size and the blue is a bit bigger" She said and i almost jumped. Blue will be perfect for Mig! "That will be perfect..please can i have them" I said. "Ok ma'am, give me a minute" She said and walked away. Wow... that's so cool .. Fleur and i are gonna rock the pink while Mig will put on the blue.

A place that I can find aspirin for my head. At least no one seemed to notice me going head on with mother earth. I glance around me. It could have been worse I follow the man infront of me into the coffee shop. "Black coffee please?" I ask the barista once it is my turn to order keeping my head down. "And... Two blueberry muffins." I point to the freshly baked muffins through the glass that stole my attention.
