You’re helping me bake.” I caught the apron, laughing as I tied it around my waist. “What are we even making anyway?” “Blueberry muffins,” she declared proudly, handing me a container of fresh berries and a sifter. “Vane’s favorite. And since you two were incredibly gross and dramatic yesterday, I figure the least you can do is help me welcome him back with carbohydrates.”
