Zayne, Tate, Noah and Colin spring up to hold down each of his hands an legs, pressing down on his shoulder and hips to keep him in place.
I stand rooted at a spot as the healer gets to work. As she moves I see a small cut on his side, distracted by the larger wounds on his chest, it had escaped my notice. Thick dark blood, almost black coats the wound.
It smells wrong.
