As soon as the emotion crossed his eyes, it was smothered—forced down until I could no longer see it.
“Looks like were free to go, kitten.” Atlas murmured, standing from his seat with little more than a glance in my direction.
I watched in silence as he slipped on some of the winter clothes. As he peeled his shirt from his body and turned my way, I quickly averted my gaze. His low chuckle was confirmation that he noticed me staring. I managed to catch a glance at the tattoo that covered his back and shoulder. It was a dragon, its body winding up his lower back and onto his shoulders. The detail was incredible, each individual scale seemed to flicker and shine. The dragon's eyes were narrowed
