VIENNA Chase blinks down at me, still out of his mind but slowly coming back into it. His knuckles are ripped open and dripping blood, and between the splatters of blood covering his face and the feral look in his eyes, he looks like a savage beast of a man, the mere sight of him enough to scare anyone off. I’m not just anyone, though. “What the fuck?!” I repeat, adrenaline pumping and heart pounding as I throw my hands up. “Are you crazy? That guy was human, he…”

he growled. I struggled and kicked, but he was too strong. He dragged me across the sidewalk, my feet scraping against the pavement. The city lights blurred together as I stumbled, my mind reeling with fear. Just as I thought all was lost, a loud crash echoed through the air. The man's grip on my arm faltered, and I stumbled backward, gasping for breath. I turned to see Chase, his eyes blazing with fury, charging towards the man who had been holding me. But it wasn't just Chase - he seemed...different. His movements were fluid, almost animalistic, and his eyes seemed to gleam with a feral intensity.

Harper then turned on a nearby light to see how much damage she and the two men had done so far. When the lights came on brightly, Chase's battered face was clearly visible. Blood was dripping from his nose, the corners of his lips, and there were many purple bruises on the surface of his skin which had always been well cared for. Meanwhile, the wounds on Alex's face weren't too bad. Alex didn't take too many hits from Chase while they were fighting, but so far Chase had managed to get a laceration to his temple and a bluish bruise to the corner of his lip.

Thankfully I had just reached up to hold my head when he did so, as I had just enough time to keep my earpod from falling out. "I like it better when you're silent." Chase smirked. A thin trail of blood had begun to trickle down my head. It was hard to make out everything in front of me. The familiar shapes had become blurry, and it was taking everything in me to keep standing. I felt like vomiting from the dizziness. "Shoot her if she moves." Chase called out to Johnny, who only smirked in response. With his hands free, Chase now had the opportunity he'd been waiting for. He grabbed a switchblade from his pocket and cut my sweater off.

"An enforcer of the Night Pavilion is truly worthy of being one of Capital City's top elites!" Chase suddenly let out a light laugh. "Hmm?" Morty was momentarily stunned. In the next instant, Chase's speed suddenly increased. His figure split into three afterimages, darting in different directions. "Escape!" Chase shouted, and his figure shot out like lightning. "You won't get away," Morty sneered. A black dagger whistled out from his side, chasing after Chase.

Pretended to be checking the line chart. Below, Marcus skated up beside Chase and shoulder-bumped him hard enough to nearly throw him off stride. Chase shoved him back. Marcus laughed. Chase didn’t, not really, but the corner of his mouth moved. Then Chase looked up. Straight toward the press box. My breath caught. He couldn’t possibly see me clearly from this angle. Too much glare on the glass. Too much distance. But he looked anyway. Held it for one beat. Two. Then skated off toward the far circle like nothing had happened.

Our faces are almost level now as he begins scrolling through thousands of feeds, filtering between dates and timestamps. “Damn… I never thought this street was this busy,” I mutter. “This is New York. Every street is busy,” he replies without looking at me. “This is it.” His voice sharpens, and he freezes the frame. I follow his gaze, narrowing my eyes. “That’s it. That’s the car.” Chase zooms in on the vehicle, checks the plates, and takes a quick screenshot. Then he scrubs forward in the feed until a figure steps out.

"Take me instead of him. I'll do anything you say. Just leave him. Please I beg just take me and leave him and I'll do anything you ask me to. Please." She could hear more screaming but she still kept her eyes on the boss as he seemed to contemplate her words. From her peripheral vision, she saw her mother clutching the boss's legs as he nodded to the man holding her brother to let go. Her brother ran towards her. But before he could reach her, one of the men standing closer to her pushed her brother and grabbed hold of her. Her mother began to sound hysterical now and let go of his legs to reach her. She grabbed her hands but Eloisa could not feel any warmth as if she was numb to everything

Zenith felt her face. Ellie gave her a puzzle look ." Huh" she looked ahead and smiled ." You have your opportunity, Chase is in the field with his friends". Zenith looked at her and fellowed her gaze , staring at Chase a black haired guy with an ocean blue eyes that makes him unique ,he has an innocent look that one could hardly tell he is a play boy, seeing him chatting with his friends Zenith sighed and looked away . "That's your time to confront him". " I don't know". Zenith hissed.

We all made mistakes and the life is always about a second chance because we have just one life. -Damien DAMIEN POV I looked at the girl sitting next to me on the passenger seat. Her platinum blonde hair were sticking on her face at weird angles. Rare colour of hair I must add. If I have forgotten her face or those haunting blue eyes then I should be lying. A part of me hated seeing tears in her doe eyes. But I am the beast for a reason.
