Did I spend two hours staring at the wall? F*ck, I didn’t want to get up. No, I could still get some sleep. Just when I cuddled into the bed, Carissa got up, stretching her hands and yawning so widely that I could smell her morning breath. “Is it morning already?” she said, looking around for her glasses. She had this rare eye disorder. At least for an hour after waking up, she’d be temporarily blind and wouldn’t be able to see anything so she had these special glasses. She’d need to wear it for this one hour to see before her eyes returned to normal.

Lucy said, "Mom, you've just recovered. The retina is still fragile, so your vision is blurry like you have high degrees of short-sightedness. "You should not strain your vision too much during this period and get ample rest. Your eyes will be as good as new after a few days of the medicinal bath and a few rounds of acupuncture." Rhett and Brett looked at each other. Initially, they only thought of giving it a go. They never expected Lucy to be this competent. They were flabbergasted.

Red’s POV It's hard to wake up first thing in the morning... Let alone with a fuzzy head and a hangover. I rolled over and looked for my glasses, they weren't there. Grumbling, and with a very full bladder, I sat up and looked around.. Got to find them damn glasses I thought, as the world came into focus. While this wasn't the first time I'd lost my glasses, I was sure that this was the first time I had seen this room.

As soon as Kevin Kyle returned to the office, his secretary handed him some documents. Kevin Kyle picked up the documents and read them. As he was reading, the words on the document slowly became blurred and his head became heavier. Kevin Kyle quickly closed his eyes and took off his glasses, then he massaged his temples, hoping to ease the pain. However, two minutes later, this situation was not relieved, and it had gotten more serious. He opened his eyes, and his vision was still blurred. He always rested little throughout his life. Aurora's P.O.V: A slow beeping sound woke me up from a deep slumber. At first, everything in front of my eyes was hazy, unfocused, but slowly, as I blinked several times, my vision started to clear. But still the drowsiness wanted to take over me, lull me back into a deep sleep. But I fought the urge. Something felt wrong…different. And it scared me. Forcing my eyes open with all the strength I had, I looked up at the clear white ceiling and immediately knew that I was no longer in my own house.

The moment she woke up, her vision was so blurred that she could hardly see a figure. At that time, the old doctor comforted her that it was normal and that she would recover soon. I began documenting the data and opened my water, taking a sip. My vision started to get blurry while I was working. Thinking it might be because I was staring at the computer, I rubbed my eyes and closed them, trying to clear my vision that was becoming blurry. When I opened my eyes again, my vision was still blurry, and the room began to spin. The door opened and I looked over at the door and saw a blurry Blake. I could see that he was saying something to me, but I couldn't make it out.

BLAISE It’s cold. I blink, eyelids heavy. The right underside of my neck aches with a dull pain, as if I’d slept on it wrong last night. There are blurs of gold, lines streaking vertically across my vision. I blink again, eyes creasing together. The lines slowly come into focus. At first, I’d thought that I was dreaming.

No one responds. My vision is blurred, something I'd grown used to. This time it felt different. Like a mist covering my eyes but not touching my skin. I blink several times, waiting for the dizziness that usually accompanies the action. It doesn't come. I hesitate before bringing a hand up to wipe at my eyes. The movement is sluggish; and my arm stings but it doesn't feel heavy. I'd grown used to the heaviness of my own body, I realize. An ache does form, greater than I've felt in awhile. It stretches across the muscles of my arm, accompanying the sting from my healing injury. My eyes hurt as I drag a fist over the lids but my vision clears. Clearer than I've felt in who knows how long.
