The bartender was pleased that she liked it. He rubbed his hands with a dish towel and nodded in approval before going away to attend to a middle-aged couple that had just claimed the seats to the right.
"Have you tried out their food?" Baron asked. "They make some wicked mac n' cheese." He lip-smacked his bunched fingers.
"I'd love to, but I ate before coming into town, I'm not that hungry."
"Your loss," he said amiably.
