"Bro, I'm here. You good?" I was about to answer when Tyler Morgan rushed over and casually threw his arm across my shoulders. The doctor standing in front of me, Dr. Holly Stevens, heard what he said and the scorn in her eyes got even worse. "You two aren't a couple? Girls these days have no shame. Angel recognized Demmy. Bobby looked at him for a minute then shrugged himself off. Angel got the weird feeling Bobby was a little afraid if Demmy. Bobby spat blood then began to walk way but before leaving he yelled "You are dead strawberry".

“He’s done mostly consulting work ever since. Maybe you’ve heard of him? Aron Rumero.” The elevator doors rolled open and the people who had been coming down to the lobby level skittered out of their way, even though he was in a much better mood than before. “Don’t know him,” Enzo said flatly, punching the button for the executive offices and feeling like he had won a prize.

He hated that fact he knew he had to talk to his father about the Russians, now he had two different wars going on, he didn’t want to deal with either one. If he could get Beth out and Abby out, both wars would be over. Bobby needed the wars to stop, he needed the Russians on his side, that way he could get Abby out safely, as well as Beth. Closing his eyes, he had a migraine coming on and he knew this one was going to be bad. He took a couple of painkillers. He hated taking them but had no choice.

I turned to see Bobby coming, I waited for him. “Hi,” I greeted, once he got to me. “Enjoying yourself?” asked Bobby, grinning. “Sort of,” I lied. “Did you make any new friends yet?” “Well, somebody tried to befriend my ass, does that count?” I deadpanned, Bobby busted out laughing. “Who?” he questioned, once he had finished laughing. “Some guy named Joe,” I answered. “Oh Joe Henchmen, yeah he goes after all the girls’ asses,” replied Bobby, with an amused smile, then he turned serious. “Hey, I wanted to ask you something.”

“It’s okay, Bobby. I just want you to be happy. But I have to keep you safe too, you know?” He nods. “Sure.” “So, how’s being back at school, Bobby? It’s been a while,” Anne asks him. Bobby smiles. “School’s ace. Great to be back with all my friends. I’m all good really.” I study him. “Really?” He hesitates just a second too long. Anne narrows her eyes. “Out with it.” Bobby exhales, rocking back on his heels. “I miss Dad. I mean, I know he calls all the time, and I get why he’s not here, but… I don’t know. It’s just different.”

I asked turning my head to him. It was then the guy started walking up to us. "Oh. Him. He is bobby and he is also a part of us. He is the second cook here. Apart from me. Though there are three of them they are on leave." She explained. I muttered an oh. "Hello." Bobby squealed and I got scared. One would think he is transgender with the way he was acting. He patted my shoulder. "Oh. You don't need to be scared. I am bobby. But you can call me B for short."

A deep voice rumbled, “Damn, Bobby. How long you been busting your ass on this?” Bobby snorted and shook his head. Tommy Grummel was the biggest, hardest, toughest guy he knew . . . with a heart like a melted marshmallow. At 6’4 and 230 pounds he didn’t seem to realize he could crush anyone he wanted. Instead, he befriended everyone, especially all the other square pegs . . . losers . . . like Bobby who didn’t fit the world’s holes. Bobby didn’t think he could call anyone his best friend, but if push came to shove, he’d name Tommy.
