I walked up to the bruised man tied to the chair, the metallic tip of my walking stick tapping softly against the floor.
“You were a junior accountant in my firm,” I said calmly. “I paid you fifty thousand every month. Apparently, that wasn’t enough for you.”
The dim light reflected off my sharp features, neatly styled black hair, and piercing blue eyes that carried a terrifying calmness.
“I’m sorry,” the man cried desperately. “Please spare me this once.”
“It’s too late for apologies,” I replied. “You took pictures, created a file, booked an appointment with his secretary, and were already on your way there.”
