Wolfbane

Wolfbane

“When I was in school. He was a year above me. I used to go for runs in my wolf form all the time to get my mind off things. His third year, he had to survive a week outside in his wolf form, and an avalanche had fallen on him. The force of the amount of snow and ice that fell on him crushed his bones and forced him into his human form. He was able to dig himself out enough to breathe, but he would have died of hypothermia if I hadn’t randomly stumbled upon him. I was able to dig him out and find him shelter, where I built a fire and kept him alive until he healed.” “Damn.” “Yeah.” We lay like that for at least an hour. I could feel that I had fractured several different bones in my body and

Sword Dancer

Sword Dancer

They would both be dead in seconds. A quick assessment told Boro that there were still five men surrounding him with drawn swords. They began to react now, each moving in to try and kill him. They were many, but they were uncoordinated, and Boro was able to slip past two of their guards and get out of their ring of death. Boro spun himself around their backs using Wind Kisses The Valley, and sliced two of their ankles cutting through flesh and bone. One fell to the ground at once, clutching his wound and howling in pain and terror. The other tried to turn and found his injured leg unable to hold his weight up, he followed his wounded ally to the ground, his own shouts of pain overriding the

the girl in ponytail said cheerfully and twirled. "What are you talking about?," Iktanne replied, completely baffled. The girls looked at her with a bit of confusion at her remark but wasn't bothered by it. "You see, Iktanne-sama, some of our relatives live in the northern province of Japan. Right now, our Empire's northern barracks have detected anomalies that involve about one and a half dozen of Giant bandits attacking villagers from there. Remember the sudden appearance of a tsunami a couple of weeks ago? General Gary of the North barracks sent a report to the Academy that those bandits were the ones responsible for that happening," the girl in pigtails explained.

It was not a good sign at all. " A body belonging to one of my warriors was found outside my pack. It was burnt almost beyond recognition if not for the face which had strangely not been affected." The strange thing was that the burn wasn't like every other normal burn. Seeing the gravity of the burn, one would expect the body to crumble to dust on being touched. Strangely, it was a hard as stone. " John, the Alpha of the Canis Moon pack said.

Wolf’s Bane and Roses

Wolf’s Bane and Roses

Carlos said, chewing on the meat loudly. “Nightbane didn’t kill him; Bowman killed his own brother.” Auron was glad he didn’t say that out loud. His cover would have been blown. “Is Bowman ready to attack yet?” Auron asked. “Bowman will attack when he returns from the North with his warriors… thousands of them… all lethal wolves.” Carlos answered, and Auron's eyes narrowed. Nightbane has warriors, but Auron is unsure if Nightbane was ready for this war. Bowman already has everything planned.

I already knew what he was going to do but still it was hard to watch. *** I never thought I would see such a cruel side of Ruda. I could never even think of it, I mean ‘that’ cute and bubbly Ruda who’s a complete goofball, he can torture men like this? It was hard to believe and if I didn’t see for myself I would never have believed it. He had beaten up the men with a thick silver chain, silver is deadly to werewolves. It burns them when they come in contact with it and silver wounds heal very very slowly.

THE FIRE LORD

THE FIRE LORD

In a split second, my knuckles connected with a bony jaw. The collision was followed with a loud shriek and then a body being hauled some meters away. I closed the distance between us almost at the same instant and rained down punches on the guy's face. All I saw in my eyes was a red haze and nothing else. Another kind of rage and anger had filled me so much that I angrily enjoyed punching the guy's face. It was like the person had snapped some kind of a trip wire in me that could never be reconnected. I couldn't control what I was feeling at the moment, I just wanted to beat this person endlessly for pissing me off. Blood spurt out of his nose under the constant punches I rained on him maki

“The princess of Handar.” He cocked his head to the side and studied her face for a moment. “Nya, sweetheart, you can’t possibly--” Slate’s words were cut short as an arrow pierced his body, near his heart. Her eyes enlarged as she turned to see one of the Beelzanborg troops getting ready to notch another arrow. Flint, Slate’s brother, was near the soldier and moved at him, anger apparent on his reddening face. He drew his sword and cut him down, but when Nya turned back to Slate, she could see it might be too late.

Rejected by the lycan king

Rejected by the lycan king

3: The Bone Path When the Scourge came, they did not howl. They did not scream. They moved like the wind fast, silent, brutal. And at their center was a force unlike anything I had seen. It wasn’t just warriors or Lycans. It was something twisted. Flesh bent by dark rituals, threads tangled with rot. Something that once might’ve been a wolf, or a man, or both but now answered to neither. We called it the Bone Warden. Tavrin felt it first. Her breath hitched. Her hands shook. “That thing...” she whispered. “It walks on pain.”
