Camila

Camila

And she sais, a woman like that is not a woman to test with, because one word and she coulf ruin your ego, self esteem and all the manly things you so dearly clung to. And I've seen it happen, I have witnessed it many times. Camila did it with Emilio and sometimes caught me also, she was up to something, but I won't figure it out to suit my father's needs, I will figure it out because I want to know more about Camila Brinx. I needed to know more. Camila's P.O.V My eyes lifted to look at the brunette who just walked into Elijah's office. She wore a tight red dress, revealing a lot of cleavage around her chest area and killers heels, her hair was curled and she looked like she was ready for a

The Game of Breaking Bones

The Game of Breaking Bones

He had crafted a three-year game of breaking bones and breaking hearts -- and in the end, the one whose pride was shattered, whose dignity was ground to dust, was himself. "Miss Holloway, it's cold out here. Please, get in the car." Pemberton held the door open for me with quiet deference. I pulled my gaze away. I didn't spare the dark shape at the end of the street another glance. I ducked into the warm, luxurious cabin. The door shut with a heavy thud. The black motorcade rolled over the fresh snow and carried on toward the gleaming heart of the city, leaving behind forever the legless beggar sobbing in the drifts.

A Ruling Passion: Mr Tremont's Priceless Little Bride

A Ruling Passion: Mr Tremont's Priceless Little Bride

When Robin arrived downstairs, she saw that Camilla was lying on the sofa in her pajamas while watching TV. Although her hair was quite messy, she still looked very attractive. Camilla looked naturally beautiful thanks to her mixed blood; with her bright and healthy-looking hair, she didn't even need to put on makeup and was already flawlessly beautiful. Robin could not muster up enough strength to even greet her. However, just as she was about to walk out the door, Camilla called out to her and stopped her. “Are you leaving just like that? Aren’t you afraid that something might happen between me and your boyfriend after you’ve left?”

So this isn’t really a book it is a Kdrama in print form. It never ends really. I like it but I dislike the way every sexual interaction between Mark and Arianne is described as marital rape. It really is ok for a wife to enjoy sex with her husband and the author could reflect that in their writing.

Milady

Milady

She was bleeding underneath. "B-Baby… did you faint?" I exhaled a few times. Seeing how she closed her eyes and stopped exclaiming, it seems like that's the reason. "Well, it doesn't matter," I raised her left leg, "I can keep going." A beast within me was starting to evolve to another level, and I don’t know if that’s a good thing. Charlotte Hayes' POV

Scarlett

Scarlett

Scarlett I woke up with a terrible headache. I must have overdone it. I got too cold and nervous that I drank too much. The communication between Lucian and Maxwell was disturbing. I did not like being in the dark, especially about things that concerned me. I went to the bathroom to freshen up and made sure I hurried up. Then decided to clean up the rooms even though it was no longer my job. Idleness was killing me sitting down, so I kept myself busy. Besides, I noticed their staff never entered their rooms, and I was sure it was for a good reason. Once I was done cleaning the place up, I decided to take a book from their shelf. I looked for books that seemed happy and void of romance. I did

This was a great book, rich in detail and with complex characters. It’s the second book I read from this author, the first being “Unwanted”, which had no ending. This book also has no ending. I’m really disappointed to have wasted so much money on books that appear to have been abandoned.

The Omega He Banished

The Omega He Banished

Syrn's POV The blood pooled around Camille’s head, a dark, pulsing stain against the pale stones. My breath hitched. I knew how to *cause* wounds, how to make flesh tear and bones snap, but this… this was different. This was just raw, uncontrolled damage, and I had no idea what to do. My hands hovered, useless, as her whimpers turned into soft, struggling gasps. “Camille!” Reylap’s voice cut through the air, sharp and urgent, as she reached us. She dropped to her knees beside the fallen woman, her eyes wide with fear as she took in the grotesque spread of crimson. “What happened? How did you hurt yourself?”

Dark Angel Loving The Jerk

Dark Angel Loving The Jerk

Arraf will use her expertise and experience to tailor the counseling sessions specifically to Camilla's needs, ensuring that she feels supported every step of the way. Camilla's tear-filled eyes welled up with sadness as she found herself standing outside Dr Arraf's office. Her heart was heavy with guilt, knowing that this visit would reopen wounds that had never truly healed. The tragic plane bombing, that unimaginable tragedy, had taken the life of Dr. Arraf's beloved sister Aruna, leaving Camilla as the sole survivor.

Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid

Sal lunged, grabbing for her arm. Camille reacted on instinct. Her hand shot upward—faster than she could register, her palm slamming into Emon’s chest. Sal was thrown across the room, smashing into stone with enough force to splinter it. He collapsed, wheezing, blood dripping from his nose. Camille staggered back, horrified. “I—I didn’t mean. . .” But the energy didn’t stop. Another crack of bones, causing her to bend into a strange position. Her body was responding in ways she couldn't understand. She couldn't control.

His Betrayal, My Second Chance

His Betrayal, My Second Chance

A part of my brows raised. Their silence felt heavier than the forest around us, like something had happened in that room they were too shaken to repeat. “Do you want me to be honest, Thelma?” Theodore spoke up for the first time. I felt a bad premonition at his question, but the curiosity eating me up didn’t stop me from nodding. “Yes, Elder. What is it?” “You can never beat Camille, no matter what trick you pull. She’s different from us. She knows what we don’t know, despite our many years on earth,” he said.

Frequently Asked Questions

The book 'Bones' I think you're referring to is likely the one by Joe Slovo, a fascinating dive into forensic anthropology. But let me tell you, the title 'Bones' pops up in so many genres! There's also 'Bones: The Complete First Season' by Kathy Reichs, which ties into the 'Bones' TV series inspired by her novels. Reichs' work blends crime and science in this gripping series about Dr. Temperance Brennan, a forensic anthropologist solving crimes through bones.

I got hooked on Reichs' books after watching the show—her writing makes complex forensic details accessible while keeping the suspense razor-shap. If you're into procedural dramas with a scientific twist, her bibliography is gold. Slovo's 'Bones', on the other hand, leans into political memoir territory, offering a raw look at South Africa's anti-apartheid struggle. Two very different vibes for one title!
