hello all I just want to inform you that I by mistake got two new chapters mixed up with each other. and added chapter 20 before chapter 19. I fixed this and am only waiting for the editor to accept the changes. I apologize for the confusion also I read in some comments there was a bit of confusion about Aiden. for those who read the first book "the king and the rejected she-wolf" a while back you would know Aiden as the boy Kai that Mack adopted.

Darius grinned. “If it starts with fire-haired one again, I’m walking out.” Luka read aloud: “The sky will bleed red when the seal begins to strain.” Everyone went quiet. Selene moved toward him. “What did you say?” Luka repeated the line, slower this time. Cassiel stepped into the room just as Luka finished. He stilled when he saw the book in Luka’s hands.

Feels risky. Odysseus seems to read the doubt on our faces and chuckles. “He can’t kill me. I’ll just pop back up in Elysium and walk back.” Charlie glances at me. I shrug. “What’s it gonna hurt?” “Everyone else, move closer to me,” she says. “I’ll shrink the shield and let him out.” We shuffle in. The field glides off Odysseus like oil, and he steps free. He nods once and strides toward Briareus.

Her hair dangled, but was too drained to even move a finger. "Give me the book," Olga demanded. Her voice echoed, like a strong wind going with a storm. Mherkealla smirked. "I swear to protect this book with my life, Olga. If I die, I'll take it with me," Mherkealla said, hoarsely. Her consciousness was slowly fading. Another drop of blood. Olga traced Mherkealla's being and a sly smile formed from her lips. She found the bravery an obtuse act. If only Mherkealla could understand better, things wouldn't have come to this.
