Alessia's POV I have read the book. It was a typical old storybook that sounded very English and Greek. I cringe a little because what I'm reading sounds like Julius Caesar. It talks about Greek gods, especially Poseidon since Homer's journey travels the seas. I feel like I'm getting a headache reading it because it's a story but the writing is poetic. But I understand because the ancient people were poets. I am too used to reading normal English novels. I just focused my attention on the book because there was nothing else to read there besides this. Even though I'm not used to reading like this, I'm just patient because it makes me sleepy.

Clearing my thoughts, I focused on the book again but stopped reading aloud. When the boat reached the split that Achilles mentioned, I wasn’t sure how to ensure the boat kept to the right. I didn’t have an oar to help steer me. I also wasn’t going to chance touching the water since I didn’t know what dangers lurked beneath the water.

As I continue to wait I hear a door close and the sound of water splashing. I got restless of sitting and decide to take a look at the pile of parchments. I pace as I read the titles. I have read many of these as they have to do with love. I frown as I see that some also have to do with loss too. I wonder do these belong to Io or her father. As I read one of the poems that caught my eye a "ahem" has me pausing in my reading.

When there was shooting behind him, the little one winced and looked around in panic at the growling and drooling beasts. Maybe he should take care of her injury.
