Joana found a large blue book one day titled ‘the council of five.’ She didn’t know if it was the right one, but she hoped it would be as she felt her eyes were going to fall out any moment over the countless number of texts she had to read for the past few months before she was able to find this one.

I took my book and I lit my index finger with fire and tried burning the book. "They got us there". Zale said and sighed getting his own book and tried to toss it in the ocean. I stopped my fire and stopped him. "Well, as we are back to square one, let's just try to gather information from the northern part," I said and smiled at him. I put my book inside my bag again. It was pointless anyway, to burn the book. It is the book of origin, a book written by the Gods, it is protected from being harmed by anything, by anyone.

Ares grunts at Lily's curious, piqued question. Jordan leans and hands her phone to Lily. Upon glancing at the picture, she pulls the phone away and hides her face with a towel. "Lily, what is it?" Claire wonders. Lily gestured to glance at the picture as Claire took a look. She, too, covers her mouth. "Thea," Claire snorted. "You've got to see this." "Thea!" Ares cried out, almost had my heart jump out. "Don't look." I grab the phone. "Why are you being uptight? It's just a tattoo."

Cressida whispered, her smile cruel and triumphant, “will learn exactly what happens when you steal what belongs to us.” One by one, the Fiery Five raised their hands into the firelight, sealing their pact. Five bitches bound by envy and vengeance.

There was nothing new with what was written, but maybe there was something more. Something deeper and darker just like this book she held. This seemed to hold many secrets, so she decided to carry on with it. She turned to another page to find something tucked in it—an old and yellowed page that was burnt on the sides, looking like it was from another book. It was crisp and frangible that it might break like a dried leaf if she even tried to fold it. The sides were charred that made some of the words unreadable.

As I continue to wait I hear a door close and the sound of water splashing. I got restless of sitting and decide to take a look at the pile of parchments. I pace as I read the titles. I have read many of these as they have to do with love. I frown as I see that some also have to do with loss too. I wonder do these belong to Io or her father. As I read one of the poems that caught my eye a "ahem" has me pausing in my reading.

The landscape changed drastically, turning into a barren desert where the air shimmered with heat. The group trudged forward, their exhaustion growing with every step.
