The Life She Stole

The Life She Stole

In a flash of rage, Holly snatched a long wooden spoon from the stove and swung. There was a loud thud, and then, the darkness swallowed me whole. When I came to, I was lying in the cellar of our house.

The Billionaire's Darling Doll

The Billionaire's Darling Doll

He just turned around and faced her, and she felt her breaths hitching as their eyes met again for the first time since Halloween night. Ryat slowly let go of her wrist, and he let out a slow breath as he stared at her face. He wasn't planning to come to this party. Not like he doesn't attend Harvey's yearly birthdays despite how insufferable Harvey is, but this year's got cancelled out of his list the moment he tried to impose the Chinese brand on him. He was in his penthouse, eating dinner after a long busy day at work when Landon texted him he had finally found his unforgettable doll as the daughter of a small-scale baker.

Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce

Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce

I opened five tabs and kept going. What else? Dolls. Safe, I thought. But what kind? Something she could keep on a shelf when she grew older. Handmade cloth doll? Custom doll? Could I get one fast? Maybe a sketch set too. She likes drawing. Good pencils. A real sketchbook. Not the thin paper that tears when you erase. And books. Always books. A story about a brave girl. A book of animals. Maybe a small globe. She likes to ask questions about places. A tight feeling pressed at my chest.

I like the sex of the protagonists. I like the evil of the antagonists.I like that Elisha has many love choices and rivals. I am still waiting to see her rise victorious over her enemies and her Ex husband's control.

Life in the Cellar

Life in the Cellar

I was in a damp, pitch-black cellar, hunched in a corner with my injured leg behind me. The walls were slimy and wet, and the moisture soaked through my blouse. The door swung open, and a burst of light stung my eyes. I lifted my hand to block it. I heard footsteps and quickly shrank back, hiding deeper in the shadows. "Mr. Carver sent me to get you, Mrs. Carver." I looked up to see who it was. It was the bodyguard Henry had hired years ago.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

Why did they come to believe the dolls had souls? "It's difficult to be certain, but there's an old tale," Landon spoke slowly, his voice weighted with the eerie lore. "In the story, an elder brother, fearing his sister's loneliness in his absence, gifted her a wooden doll. The girl cherished the doll so much that she would cradle it every night, set a place for it at the dining table at every meal, and even give it a name. "Her devotion bordered on obsession. But soon after, the girl fell gravely ill. Despite efforts to save her, she passed away.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

The Coma Doll

The Coma Doll

Crackers, maybe? Heart pounding, I peeled the velvet back. Underneath: a few chunks of hardtack and half a protein bar. I froze. Stared at the girl on the bed, still playing dead. She was faking. But why? What was she trying to pull? Did Ms. Deinert know? I looked at her perfect, peaceful face—and felt pure horror. She wasn't some helpless victim. She was a monster.

PLEASE ME, DADDY: 50 SHADES OF DESIRE

PLEASE ME, DADDY: 50 SHADES OF DESIRE

Fear gripped her, but beneath it, a spark of that forbidden curiosity ignited—stories come to life, just like in her books. The doll approached the bed on unsteady legs, its small feet pattering against the wooden floor. Up close, its lifeless face unnerved her, painted lips frozen in a perpetual smile. But those eyes burned with something hungry, something not of this world. A dark spirit, Lila thought wildly, her mind racing to the fantasy tales she loved. The doll climbed onto the bed, its tiny hands reaching out. They were cold, smooth porcelain against her warm skin as it crawled toward her. Lila recoiled, pulling the sheet up like a shield.

The ex-wife

The ex-wife

Naturally, Ziyah was thrilled when she saw the shiny greens. I wrapped my coat tightly around myself. My baby would be born on December- a cold month with lots of snow. I smiled and was about to suggest to Ziyah that we go somewhere else when my eyes caught a pretty doll with big black eyes and shiny red hair. I was instantly attracted to it. If my baby was a girl, she would definitely like such a unique doll. Without saying a word, i walked inside the mall as if, possessed. I grabbed the doll off the shelf without looking at the price tag.

SECRET OBSESSION

SECRET OBSESSION

She added a liberal amount of honey, stirring it with a silver spoon gently as it steeped. "What am I going to do with you?" she asked the doll. The doll answered her with a blank stare. She picked up the doll and walked over to her bed. Above her bed she had installed cute little box shelves to place books and other collectibles in. Tilting a signed copy of The Hobbit to one side, she made a space for the doll. Fiddling with the doll, she realized that something was written on the bottom of its left foot. "Jenny," she said aloud. The y had been written backwards, a testament to that long ago child that had loved such a thing. "Ok Jenny. I guess you're my new roommate for the time being."

These Maddening Desires

These Maddening Desires

She threaded her memories, then recalling how she had witness a kidnapping and the silver haired man who suddenly appeared before her, putting her to sleep! Where was she?! Josie jumped from the bed at once, pushing away the thick duvet that had covered her body. As her feet landed on the cold floor, she looked to her left where she didn’t notice the small creature that had been waiting for her to wake up from her dream. “AAAAA!!!” A loud scream erupted from Josie’s lips as she fell backward to the bed, staring at the moving doll that stared its wide blue eyes toward her. The doll was made from porcelain. Its creamy skin gleamed as the light beside her hits her body and although her face app
