I will just want to touch it." He said. Chenyin gave the book to the Prince. The book was brown. It had a beautiful design on it. And it has also a lock on it. "Hey it has a lock on it. Did you notice?" He asked.

He was going to take the rest of the day off even if I had to make him. A door connected his living room to the library. I opened it expecting to find my fiancé, instead I was greeted by a disturbing sight. At the far end of the library, Miles was going through a desk in a small room. A room that existed where the wall should have been.

Arianne’s POV I got startled on the constant pounding on the door. Good thing it made me comeback to the present. For several days, I don’t actually have any idea exactly what day is today, all I know is that Jace, Natalia and their marriage are all over the news. That’s why I decided to lock myself in my room. I know it’s kind of selfish but really I don’t know how to face the world anymore most especially my two innocent children.

After opening the magical lock that sealed the book and returned the other books, Noel hummed while he walked towards the exit, when he realized another door was connected to Room Magma. The shape of the door couldn't be identified from the distance where Noel stood because the lights weren't able to reach where the door was, with it being hidden behind one of the shelves.

I open the door on my left and enter what looks to be the living room. "Sit." He commands, walking towards the large bookcase full of encyclopedias. He picks up his phone, taps on his screen and presses it to his ear. "We have a visitor I think you might like to see. Also, get one of the boys to go outside and check to see if Jacob is alive." He grumbles with his back still facing me. "Oh, bring the girl and Sandro." He places his phone back on the bookcase along with his gun.

It disappeared and the gates open. “She, does he means Ana or the girl in black?” Van thought. Van and Cara are the first to enter the gates. Kirsten and the rest hesitated, yet no one wants to be left out here with the metal face so they follow with their eyes closed. Van and the rest then emerge into a vast chamber or a void perhaps for there is no floors, walls or ceilings here. There are only doors here, lots and lots of doors floating around like hooded ghosts. Van approaches the nearest one. The door must be more than eight feet tall for it towers above Van’s head. Carved around the decorated knocker is an inscription:

It felt like time was working in slow motion and the silence was quite deafening, approaching footsteps aside. Approaching footsteps? Astrid held her breath, listening closely. There were footsteps, alright. It didn't sound like they belonged was one person. They stopped right in front of the library. Astrid silently prayed for the footsteps to continue ahead. As her luck would have it, the door opened. It was too dark to make out who it was. “Why are we in your library?” A feminine voice hissed as the footsteps became rushed. Astrid heard a small slam and then a gasp.

I followed him through the long hallway taking note of the turns we took to start ascending down a few stairs I didn't know of until we reached some huge, wooden double doors giving off a medieval but a classy aesthetic of the hidden treasure behind. My excitement couldn't be measured. And he opened the door and my there laid heaven. My eyes widened with my mouth agape at the beautiful closed authentic space. The man next to me offered me a smile at the way my eyes lit up at the sight. And I sighed. Geek heaven. I knew I should close the book, walk away and forget what I had read. But I continued on, greedily devouring the forbidden text, drawn deeper into its web of secrets and deception. I looked again at the librarian, her eyes still watching, waiting to see if I would reveal what I now knew. I closed the book slowly and quietly rose in my seat. Some doors, once opened, can never be closed again. Some secrets are not meant to be disturbed, long buried for good reason. But my curiosity had gotten the better of me, lured by the promise of hidden mysteries and lost knowledge.

I have a feeling this isn’t food. I twist the single manacle I’m left wearing on my right hand as I near the door, worried about messing up my plan by opening it and whoever’s behind it locking it tight again, like Declan failed to do. I make a snap decision and stuff a book as far as I can beneath the left door, knowing the right side is always the one that swings open. If the door remains unlevel, it won’t lock properly. At least, I’m praying that’s the case. I listen as keys jingle on the other side of the door and stand back, my heart hammering.
