Book Broken Pieces Novels & Stories

It was filled with thick books with different sizes, but some are notebooks and photo albums displayed with some cute decorations that mostly were handmades. But as I take books from there places, I accidentally pushed the music box where a carousel was attached at the top of it. The bookshelf was high and so does the area where the music box was placed. This causes it to shatter into big pieces when it fell on the floor which causes a loud noise that lingered through the every corner of the silent room.

“Who. Did. This. To. You?! Tell Me!” Ethan glared at Alexa, which made her feel terrified. She took a few steps backward until she accidentally hit the antique vase that was worth hundreds of dollars. It was placed on the corner of the corridor, and bumping into it broke it into a thousand tiny pieces. Alexa gasped as she saw the broken pieces of glass all over the floor she had just cleaned.

Silas's POV I broke three things before I was satisfied. The glass first — a clean, sharp explosion that the men in the room absorbed without flinching. They'd learned. Then the lamp. Then a chair, which took real effort but was more satisfying than the rest combined. Something about breaking furniture tells the body it's doing something. I straightened my jacket. Sat back down.

Like Russian Roulette meet 50 card pick up. They graciously waited for the paid to reside before drawling another one. I currently had broken toes on both feet, broken right knee cap, three broken fingers, broken ribs, collar bone and left shoulder. I could feel my bones setting wrong as my advanced healing took place. Raven was trying to slow down the healing but I knew I would have to rebreak everything. I was coated in sweat from head to toe before they decided it was time for lunch. Apparently causing me pain gave them an appetite.

I turned my head, knowing the sight would only break my heart further. A tearing sound could be heard throughout the hallway, followed by the light thumps of my book as it hit the floor in pieces. I couldn't help but look down at the book, the book that I had carried around for years. It was torn into five pieces, random pages and bits of cover were scattered along the floor.

By the time Damien came in, I was sitting stiffly on the couch, my face pale, my hands clutching each other so hard my knuckles hurt. He stopped at the door, his brows pulling together. “What’s wrong with you? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” I swallowed, my lips dry. “Damien… I need to tell you something. I… I broke it.” He tilted his head. “Broke what?” I pointed at the pile of shattered porcelain on the floor. Damien’s eyes followed my finger. His face didn’t change. No anger. No surprise. Just… calmness. He walked closer, looked down at the mess, and then turned back to me with a straight face.

The expensive chronograph fell, clattering loudly against the hardwood floor, the glass crystal fracturing into a web of tiny silver cracks. ​That small, insignificant sound—the breaking of a piece of glass—was the final blow that shattered the dam. ​A sudden, sharp sob tore from my chest, a sound so raw, so guttural and foreign, that it didn't even sound like it belonged to me. My knees, already weakened by the lingering poison of the sedative, completely gave out. I collapsed heavily onto the floor beside the bed, my back sliding down the wooden paneling until I was curled into a ball on the carpet, my face buried in my hands.

Now they were ash. When I finally calmed down enough to look at Colton — really look at him — I saw something I wasn’t ready for. Pain. Longing. A desperate ache that made my chest tighten. He wanted to be the one comforting me. He wanted to be the one I ran to. He wanted to be the one I trusted. But I’m not ready for that. I’m not ready for him. I’m too broken for a mate bond. Too damaged for something that pure.

Despite her efforts, the door remained locked and unyielding. Afterward, Luna discovers an iron display, seemingly meant to hold candles. Luna quickly walks back to the door and starts trying to break the door handle using the iron display she found. However, despite her repeated attempts, the door handle remains intact, and she's still locked inside the room. Luna discarded the iron ornament and searched for another option. She hoped to find a sharp object or anything that might help, but her search yielded no results. She also noticed that there were no windows in the room, just walls adorned with large European-style paintings of notable figures.

Axen looked at me without a speck of emotion on his face and said. "I accept. Our bond is broken with the blessing of the Goddess.' Axen tried and failed to hold back another howl. In the end he let loose a loud heart breaking cry that felt like a dagger to my heart, then fell back hitting the hard Chapel floor with a thud.
