Only one messaged from him and all my worries would be gone. “I hope he won’t get mad.” I whispered while staring the table out from the garden. Until now I couldn’t believe that our house was still the same. I thought Demir would let Laura lived here and changed everything. As I was about to stand the frame suddenly fell on the ground. My heart skipped in surprise to hear the loud bang and the broken pieces of glasses scattered on the ground. I was about to pick one of the broken glasses but it pinned on my fingers and so as my phone suddenly vibrated.

I had become a broken vessel, shattered and discarded, just like the windows of my soul. As I stood there, swaying on unsteady feet, I couldn't help but feel like a mere pile of mud, trampled on by the world around me. My spirit was fractured, my hope shattered. But deep down, buried beneath the layers of pain, a flicker of defiance remained. A small voice whispered, "Maybe, just maybe, there's a way to piece myself back together."

Every saturday morning, the sun gleamed with pride. Thaddeus sat astride the window watching as tiny rain drops trickled down the window pane, descending in the house through the tiny crack in the roof. It should have been fixed by their dad a some sunny months ago... His thoughts flew out of proportion with the hard thuds he thought he'd heard on the weak door of his small house. Almost instantly there came a rapid second thud on the door. It was also as the first, if not harder. Whoever was knocking should be grateful Sarah was not home, it would...

Fuck those sacrifices. “No matter what, once in your life, someone will hurt you, that someone will take all that you are, and rip it into pieces and they won’t even watch where the pieces land. But through breakdown, you’ll learn that you’re strong, and no matter how hard they destroy you, you can conquer anyone. You’re strong, Melissa. I know, I’ve witnessed it. ” Eugene said softly.

My son had been in our suite for less than thirty seconds, and he had started destroying things. Thirty. Seconds. I stared at the shattered mahogany pieces in my hand in utter disbelief. “He’s barely been here a minute.” Fabian stepped into the room, a slow, impressed whistle escaping his lips. Fabian crouched beside me, inspecting the damage like a detective at a murder scene. “Wow,” he whispered reverently. “That is original mahogany too.” He looked at Maverick. “How did you even break this?” “I jumped on it!” Maverick announced proudly.

Chapter 6 Eli's POV The sound of table clock was suddenly too loud today. Everything seemed to irritate me. The sound of the clock, a random frog croaking outside my window and the feel of the bedsheets against my skin. I knew the reason why and it lodged behind my throat like a bitter pill.

" He asked again, clueless. I blinked, realising that in all of the drama i just let on, the crucial information wasn't passed. "I.. i.. i uhm, it.. it's broken, all of it." I confessed slowly, stuttering as the words choked my throat. "What's broken?" He queried doubtfully. A sob/hiccup escaped from my mouth. "The test pieces." I let out. ###

She was devastated by her mother's death yet she needed to be strong for her son. "Austin James put the glass down or it'll break again!" She exclaimed while stopping her son from playing with the glass. He giggled and placed it down. "Sorry, Mama." She smiled at her son's baloney. She knew it wasn't a sincere apology but she didn't want to scold him. After all, he was a cheerful kid. "Aus, Uncle George will be here soon to pick you up so get ready after eating your breakfast." She announced. "Okay, Mama."

Zaviers hand went to his shoulder right when he went to stand up. I quickly turned around and power walked to the book because I could feel the need radiating off of him. Blake was looking at me with a soft smile that had me smiling more. I quickly looked throught the pages until I stopped on the page that read. 'Broken souls.' I wouldve been confused if I hadnt passed soul breaker a few pages back. I rubbed my hand over the page and watched as a gold ribbon slowly came out of the book. The ribbon twirled around Blake in a graceful manner. The ribbon slowly attacted itself to his body. "I cant move." Blakes panicked tone had me praying that this was right.

I stumbled into something, staggered for a while, and crashed to the floor. One of the bottles broke into pieces and the pieces scattered all over the place.
