“I’ll be fine, I’ll just wait for my turn over on the couch.” I make my way to the couch with a quick pit stop at the bar cart. I stand and lean against the car, waiting for her to say we can take off the blindfolds. "Okay, look." Her words have me unwrapping the blindfold, my eyes settle on the sign Just Dream Book Corner The words are big, and stand out. I'm lost over the name, but whatever, I expected something like Smut Stop considering that's pretty much the main theme she made this book store. "Oh my god!" She stamos her feet and we look at her. "It looks amazing angel," I smile at her. It does, the windows have books showcased in them, along with cushions making it a comfortable reading area. We can't see much inside yet though.

“There’s a bookstore that stays open late.” Emma turned toward him. “Now?” James shrugged. “Just briefly. I want to walk.” Emma nodded. “All right.” They parked along a quieter stretch of road. James lifted Ethan carefully, letting the small head rest against his shoulder. Inside the bookstore, the scent of paper and old wood greeted them. Soft white lights made the shelves feel like corridors of time. Emma wandered toward the section of notebooks and journals, her fingers brushing spines until she paused at one with a simple cover.

It was not long before she was at her favorite bookstore. Entering the quaint bookstore on the corner, Kayla breathed in the familiar scent of paper and ink. The shelves were lined with rows upon rows of books, their colorful spines beckoning to her like old friends. She meandered through the aisles, trailing her fingers along the bindings, searching for the perfect escape from reality.

It took almost a minute until everything sank into the windlet’s head. “Man. Empty stomach makes me stupid,” Darrion commented. “Let’s go to the park!” the windlet grinned, trying to change the subject. Jai chuckled. He really is a bright sun. “Sure. Where’s the turn, though?” “Oh it’s there,” Darrion pointed at the turn. “Oh, there’s also a bookstore there at the corner. We should buy some newspaper and read the news.” Jai and Darrion stopped by the book store at the corner of the road. It was an average sized book store with a pyramid and rows of books displayed on the window. They entered the place and saw there were already several customers inside.

Stopped. Walked in. A kid, maybe twenty, stood behind the counter, staring at his phone. "Do you have books for teenagers?" He looked up. "Like, Young Adult?" "I don't know. Sixteen-year-olds." "Yeah. YA section's in the back." I walked to the back. Found shelves labeled Young Adult Fiction. Pulled out a book at random. Read the back. Something about dragons. Shoved it back in. Pulled out another. Read the back.

A carefully chosen stack, children’s stories with beautiful illustrations, the kind that were as much for the parents reading them as for the child hearing them.
