Melpomene: Demonic Doll

Melpomene: Demonic Doll

A cold chill tousled through the hairs on the back of my neck and filtered down my spine, prompting me to spin around and make it back towards the front of the door when my eyes were drawn into something I had not really noticed previously. A dazzling porcelain doll sat competently on a rocking chair, facing my direction. She initially appeared to be expensive and visually striking, as if she has a million bolts of charm and glamour lurking beneath her smile. Her ocean-blue eyes have depths of innocence in them, and it seemed as though an inevitable gravity was dragging me in to explore those vast sets of orbs.

The Queen's Doll

The Queen's Doll

She stares wide-eyed at the Queen who just emerged from the inner chamber. Yuelan’s notes the guilty look on her servant’s face and decides to mess with her. She heard what the servant said about the doll. Not necessarily true. The doll is just someone she is using to distract herself from her horrid marriage, but she can’t have her personal servant spewing nonsenses. The girl needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. “Who am I obsessed with?” She questions in a calm tone like she is having a conversation about the weather with servant. While she waits for the servant to answer her question, she strides to set table and takes a sit. Suddenly she feels very farmish.

His Doll

His Doll

Then she said like a creep," Next time, you all will not be so lucky. You tried to kill my children!! Hmm!! Now, I will kill your children with my own hands and take revenge on you" Saying that she took out a small bottle and said like a witch showing it to Abhinav," This poison is so powerful that it can kill a grown person just in 5 minutes. Infants will take only a few seconds to die". This time, hearing her Abhinav looked at Bhabani with a void expression on his face. But his eyes are changing colour like he is turning into another person. Bhabani didn't notice his face yet. She said sarcastically," And for your wife. I am selling her to a brothel very soon. After finishing you all I wil

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

The Don’s Obedient Doll Was Never Real

The Don’s Obedient Doll Was Never Real

We were crammed into a shitty apartment that stank of mold and sewage. Outside the window, we could hear the shouts of our enemies hunting for him. Inside, we had a single, paint-chipped pistol. He sat on the floor, covered in blood, in the dark and cramped room. He never knew that the innocent girl in the white dress before him had all but disowned her family and abandoned her name for him. "Rosalie, are you sure about this?" His eyes then were like those of a cornered, lone wolf, his voice trembling.

Against His Will

Against His Will

My eyes became narrow in that direction, my pupils got dialed after looking at what there was and I turned my gaze back again to the aunt. "Jane...Jane, there is a haunted doll in our house," she said in a shaking voice. The doll was in very bad condition. It was dark there because of which that doll was looking scarier, it was colored in red color, one eye was missing, one ear was missing and legs were torn. "Wait, why is this doll fat?" I narrowed my eyes when I saw it properly. "Aunt Jennifer, it is not a doll it is a teddy bear," I exclaimed to her.

Locked In The Snares Of Illusion

Locked In The Snares Of Illusion

Thirteen men were found lifeless every week, which compels to be frightening in the view of a fact of what manner the killer has done upon ending their existence. The murderer broke off a hint on the victim's corpse, the similar patterns to be examined were visible to the lifeless prey, their covering being coated with a black tuxedo and a red polo shirt underneath. Pairing it with black slacks and black shoes perfectly fit the victims and bound with their branches nailed, the martyrs appear to be likened to a toy, particularly a doll.

SECRET OBSESSION

SECRET OBSESSION

Getting back in her car, she smiled at the doll. "You're much too special to just be tossed," she said. She had been obsessed with the house since she was little, and she wasn't yet ready to part with such an unexpected treasure, no matter how creepy it was. The doll had a porcelain face with a cloth body, and it wore a pale red dress. It stared out the car window as they drove, and Beth contemplated how ethical it would be to keep or sell it. Technically, Mike had given it to her for disposal, but now she worried what sort of implications it may have if it turned out the doll was somehow worth a lot of money.

TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS

TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS

“Keep Cameron close. If he’s slipping away, tighten your hold or deal with the consequences.” I didn't respond. I couldn't. “Have you cleared out the evidence?” she asked. “I handled it,” I said dryly. I turned toward the mirror to check my face. That was when I saw it. On the dresser sat the doll. Its head had been ripped off and placed beside its body. A wave of ice moved through my veins. I stepped closer, my breath hitching as I recognized the stitch work. This was a message. “What is it?” my mother asked.

Michelle Gonzales
Great story from book 1 to book 2, hoping for a sequence the after married life of wesley and isabella with their pup and maverick being the old brother. Loved to see also the story of charlie and emma, and maybe an exciting and unexpected love story of annita with the king rouge
mysticmoonglow33
Dear Luxie... Do you think when Emma’s story is over you can write another one with all the families and friends gathered together in an island somewhere alone just being happy with their children and grandchildren reminiscing when they all came together? Maybe even bring back Sasha and Cora.

Whispers of the Devil

Whispers of the Devil

“That’s awful, but what does it have to do with this house?” A creaking sound drifts down the hallway, likely from Robert shifting his weight in his chair. “The officer’s wife worked here for a few months before the murders. As did Miss Appleborough.” “Were they nurses?” “No. Miss Appleborough was a drifter, according to rumor. She came to town looking for work and ended up working here as a maid. The man who was shot in the face six times was a chef. He worked in the kitchen during the time when Ms. Penny was still somewhat with us. Miss Appleborough never admitted to the murder, but she couldn’t, really. She was in rough shape by the time the police were able to identify the man. Hadn’t sa
