Sure enough, the look in his eyes flashed confusion. "A nightmare? You haven't had one of those in years." I chewed on my lower lip causing the worry to grow evident on his features even more. I exhaled heavily as I knew he was waiting for clarification. "Not necessarily a nightmare. It was a dream where you guys were there to save me. I always dreaded waking up afterwards though. “Oh I get it!” I exclaim after a few minutes of silence passes. I get up from the wooden chair that she helped me sit on when I lost my balance when seeing her face. I start walking around the room , trying my best to make sense of this sudden appearance of her. “This is all a dream…I am still unconscious and having a dream of you…” I earn a sigh from her . “Rose-“ I cut her off. “Or!” I continue. “…or…I am dead. The mysterious woman has handed me back to Alexander and he has killed us all in our sleep , which makes sense as to why I am seeing my dead mother….” I look to the wolf who licks it’s paw , while sitting by my mother’s feet.

Nobody in my memory matched him at all. Then one night, after yet another late shift, I was scrolling through my phone like a zombie when a pop-up appeared out of nowhere. It had a cheap glittering border, the whole nine yards, a classic bottom-of-the-barrel web ad. It was for some app I had never heard of called Astra. I was about to close it when my finger froze in midair for three full seconds. The model on the landing page looked exactly like the man from my dreams. I could not bring myself to close it. Instead, I kept reading.

Waiting for him to show me that I haven’t lost my mind and for him to make my dream a reality. ​"I believe," Ryan said, stepping into the room with a slow, heavy gait, "that you have something of mine." ​My breath hitched. I looked at the book, then at him. I reached out with trembling fingers and pushed the paperback toward him, my voice a broken whisper. "I... I'm so sorry. I'll just take it and go. I didn't mean to—" I played the part as I did in my dream. But deep down, I couldn't wait for him to put me in my place and make me his slut.
