CEO's Hidden Marriage

CEO's Hidden Marriage

As fate would have it, Tyler, a fellow book enthusiast, struck up a conversation about a novel they both held in their hands. Their exchange of words soon transcended the confines of casual banter, evolving into a connection that felt destined. Sophie found herself drawn to Tyler's intellect, his passion for literature mirroring her own. The bookstore became their sanctuary, a haven where shared laughter and thoughtful discussions wove the fabric of their growing bond.

The Kingdom of Light

The Kingdom of Light

I really wanted to meet his sister. “I found a new book for you,” Nicolais interrupted. My gaze shifted to him, and I saw a new expression—one I hadn’t seen before. Jealousy. Was he jealous of my conversation with Sicca? “It’s right there,” he said, pointing beside my plate, where a sky-blue book lay quiet and waiting. “It’s fiction.” “Thank you so much,” I smiled at him as I picked up the book. “What’s it about?” “It’s a fairytale,” he explained, “I figured you might like that.”

Accidental Bibliophiles

He asks and I chuckle. "This book is about a war between dragons and shit. It's not like a cook book or a knitting class." I say, chewing on some ice as I type up the description online. "Stop chewing on ice, you're gonna ruin your teeth." Jack barks through the phone, but I ignore him. "Yes or no? I'm sure Mrs. B would just give us the books. You're the one who was bitching that we need to try new things." I say and he groans a little, obviously annoyed by me.

he said. I looked out the window. “There’s a bookshop,” I said. “Two streets from the market. So small you have to turn sideways in the aisles. I bought two books I didn’t need.” “What kind.” “One about a woman who builds boats. One about a city that doesn’t exist.” He made a sound that was almost a laugh. “Of course.” “Of course what.” “You’d find the one bookshop,” he said. “In the whole city. First month.”

MARKED BY MY MONSTERS.

MARKED BY MY MONSTERS.

Sprinted to the door, I pulled it open, not expecting it to open, but it did, causing my heart to swell in joy. Ambling to the shelf, my eyes darted round the various book covers. Fiction was my favorite book to read because the best thing about reading was to be able to escape from your life, to be able to read hundreds or even thousands of other lives. Non-fiction does not have that power, it does not change you the way fiction does. To me, if you are not affected somehow, even if it is the slightest change, you are not reading the right book. I would love to think that every novel I have read has become a part of me and created who I am in a sense.

When Innocence Burns

When Innocence Burns

Wow. I was drooling. It wasn't just a room with books. It was a sanctuary. Floor-to-ceiling shelves packed with hardcovers, a rolling ladder, a massive fireplace that looked like it hadn't been used in decades. The scent of old paper and leather hit me, comforting and familiar. I ran my finger along the spines. ‘The Art of War’, ‘Sun Tzu’. ‘Histories of the Roman Empire’. Biographies of kings and conquerors. Heavy stuff. Interspersed with them were fiction classics. Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Dumas.

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

She moved her fingers to every book in the shelves but stopped as her eyes were stuck with something. "What?! This book," Kathy exclaimed as she picked one of the books and examined it. "How come it's here? Is Aaron fond of reading fiction and contemporary romance? How come?" Kathy inquired as she couldn't understand that the bad - to - the - bone devil will read such kind of novels. It's not realistic to think about.

pretty good start. enough descriptive imagery. the blurb was okay. seems like there's enough conflict to keep the story interesting. the blurb needs some proofreading, as well as the first chapters (typos, tense consistency issues, punctuation, etc.). overall, nice work

The synopsis hints that this story has more in it than it seems. The chapters need some editing, but nothing that damages the story as it is right now. The ML is easily hated, but I bet there is more about him than the first chapters shows.

The Chosen Omega

The Chosen Omega

I've never heard of Emberborns before, and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if the book I'm reading is fiction or not. Who gave me this book? Why? When I first started reading it, I had no idea what to expect. But this is strange—it's like I'm reading about a history that never existed before. Maybe it's merely a storybook, but it doesn't read like one. I have to continue reading it. I need to find out more. I'm the first to arrive and I choose a seat right in the back. I open the book on my lap and start to read again, picking up where I left off.

Kiara's pov "Caught in a lie" That was the name of the Novel I read. Our dear author just had to lock the chapters in the end, which made the last chapters open only if you pay. And always I left it as I don't want to waste my money for just a novel. I could have used it for something else.

"It was only a demonstration of what's about to come." *** This book is a work of fiction. All names, characters, incidents and locations are products of the author's imagination. They don't have any affects in real life. Any resemblance to any living and dead or any events is totally coincidental.
