BLADE'S POV I had been at the balcony staring at the beautiful constellations when she had walked towards the horsemen fountain which was one of my favorite artwork in the house and was also Dexter's most hated artwork. The cool breeze had swept her golden blonde hair across her face making her more enticing to my wolf. "Just stop it!" I snapped at Jordan. The fact that she wasn't terrified by the scary ten foot tall horsemen statues by the fountain made me develop an instant liking towards her.

We got into Silas's car and drove to the Pack's entrance, where the guards checked us before granting us entry. The Harvest Festival was a sight to behold, reminiscent of a carnival. "Alpha Silas and Luna, you have arrived," Theo greeted us with a charming smile. His smile reminded me of some of the notorious people I had encountered when I started my career, but luckily, they had met their demise before they could cause any harm.

A tanned man with blonde hair grumbled, folding his arms across his chest as he threw me dirty glances. “I'm sure you've all heard about the amazing hacker in the hackers haven who can break through any security wall in her path when it comes to doing the best she can. Ash Vega.” Halo said, gesturing towards me with a smile that I couldn't quite read the intentions behind it but I knew it carried some.

"How did you get here?" Leo asked, his hand instinctively moving to his dagger. "I followed the scent of starlight," Hala said, pointing a gnarled finger at me. While I nodded slowly, accepting her proposal, a general cleared his throat, his gaze lingering on Halo and I, “we're still in the middle of a meeting, my lord.” “I only want to borrow him for a few minutes, sir.” Halo said politely, her shoulders relaxed and back straight. She was confident, smart, beautiful, everything a father would ask for in his daughter. She was Felza's, but I've prayed so hard to the moon goddess to make her mine. Felza kept on rejecting my proposal, but with Halo growing fond of me, how long would she be able to say no? Just because of her, she might have to give in eventually.

She picked it up, dusting it off. “Give it to me,” Halle commanded, and Hazel handed the globe to her. Then she rubbed it slowly, causing it to give a faint glow. Soon, a mist formed around it, and she stared into it, trying to contact the ten witches. “Halle Baudelaire,” one witch called out to her as soon as her face popped up in their chambers. “How may we help you, great one?” Hearing them call her the great one even after she lost the battle with Enzo made Halle feel good a bit. It had been a rough fight, and she let her emotions take over, but she knew too that it was destiny, and there was almost nothing she could do about it.

Nora let out a dark chuckle. "Wait! The halo is inside us. How? When? Why?! I don't understand; isn't the halo supposed to be a treasure that protects the whole race?" Hazel asked in surprise as her eyes widened in shock and unbelief. "Yes, it is. It has merged with us and become one with us; fate has willed it since the beginning. But even though it was meant to be ours, it was too early when it merged with us, and so it also began to drain my life strength slowly. And the little connection I had with you broke off. To find a way out for us and make sure the enemy never succeeded, I made use of my last remaining power to make you remember our mates during your last memory loss," Nora explai

" Malakai smirked when he thought of the answer. "We're ghosts baby." Malakai responded and Eden wanted to laugh, but she was so confused at the same time. "Huh? The fuck do you mean?" Eden said and looked up to see a mischievous glint in her boyfriend's eyes. "I have someone, a hacker, his name is Rhys. He'd remove everyone's DNA, their information and everything there is about them off the systems of the world. When you joined the agency, he did the same. In short, we don't exist little one." Malakai said and Eden's eyes widened. She never knew the extent to which Malakai could go.

Holus protect us all, it was a disaster never been seen at all. “We can’t stay here much longer,” Falstad said. The groans of the undead grow nearer, and there will be no way out once everyone has turned. “Arthur!” He shouted, and there came Lieutenant Arthur. “Commander?” Arthur asked. “Take six of your men to hold off the undead here whilst we leave with the princess. Holus guide you.”

The metal glowed red and melted on the floor. “The vortex, Johan,” Dorin called. “Roger.” Replied Johan, setting the vortex on fire. The three-headed horse reared in the air and ran wild in the room, trampling some of the men in suits. The pillar of fire burned and ate its way through the ceiling, melting the dome like it was merely made of wax. The old Morel looked furious. He shouted a word and opened a portal that sucked the pillar of fire. “Johan,” Seb whispered, holding on to his arm and Dorin’s hand on the other. “Remember the white flame?”
