Eli thinks he’s the shadow. But the real war wasn’t about power. It was about who hid Project Hollow.”

My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit.

Harry and I decided to sit on the sand and just stared at the sea which looked absolutely calm under this dim lit beach having the full moon only giving us light from above us. “You have to show me your tattoo on your ankles.” I begged. Harry chuckles, “Very persistent. One sec.” He pulled out his phone and turned on his flashlight before focusing the light to his left foot. He begins to show me the outer side of his left ankle which said “BLUE” and then to the inner side of this left ankle which said “MOCKINGBIRD”. I gaped.

" Malakai smirked when he thought of the answer. "We're ghosts baby." Malakai responded and Eden wanted to laugh, but she was so confused at the same time. "Huh? The fuck do you mean?" Eden said and looked up to see a mischievous glint in her boyfriend's eyes. "I have someone, a hacker, his name is Rhys. He'd remove everyone's DNA, their information and everything there is about them off the systems of the world. When you joined the agency, he did the same. In short, we don't exist little one." Malakai said and Eden's eyes widened. She never knew the extent to which Malakai could go.

"Whatever they're keeping in there, they really don't want it getting out." "Reassuring." "Stay behind me." Jack pushed. The door didn't just open—it shattered. The wards broke against his void arm like waves against a cliff, their energy absorbed into the endless hunger that lived inside him. The room beyond was dark, lit only by the glow of a thousand server lights and one flickering holographic projection. Haley. She floated in the center of the room, her form pixelated and distorted, cables running from the servers into what should have been her body. Her eyes were closed, her expression peaceful—too peaceful, like someone who had given up fighting.

I’m seeing things I haven’t been privy to in years, seeing faces and people even though I don’t know them. /“What’s happening to me, Halo?”/ I ask her as I’m laying on the bed with my arm slung over my eyes. /“This doesn’t make any sense to me.”/ Slowly, the darkness dissipates and Halo’s negative appearance comes into view. She’s sitting on her hind legs with her head tilted slightly to the side, a curious expression etched on her face. /“I’ve told you before, Chloe Jane,”/ she starts. /“Your mind is conjuring up some vivid images now that you’ve had a sneak peek at what the world looks like. Have you tried to up your sights to twice a day?”/

Halturian turns towards me with a grin. "Come on beautiful I have a surprise for you." I take his hand as he leads me down the hallway. Makkan follows behind. He takes me down the corridors before we enter a room where I've never been before. Galen is waiting inside. " What is this? " I ask inside the room is a round metal platform. Halturian turns to his brother with a smile as he says. "Are you ready, Galen?" "Yes, bro." He replies with a grin as he presses something on an instrument panel, and a holographic figure starts to appear before me.

The mansion was enormous and grand, filled with numerous servants. I bit my lip, never imagining that a startup founder like Ikaros, who collaborated with Jay, could own such a magnificent home. We got out of the car and entered the house. Its hallways were high-ceilinged with ruby red paneled walls and large gold-framed photos, adorned with crystal chandeliers and towering ceramic vases.

Tugging at Hunter’s hand, we turned around just as his Beta came walking over to us. “Hello, I am Beta Damien. Allow me to escort you back to your home,” he said, bowing his head respectfully. I looked at Hunter who nodded. The beta turned on his heel and started leading us towards, a portal? "Who needs doors when you have portals?" Hunter commented and I eyed him questioningly. He has some explaining to do after what I saw him do several times before. For some reason, I glanced at my right and caught sight of a pair of eyes watching me from the crowd. It was the older woman who helped me escaped. Tears have sprung from her eyes as she looked at me desperately.

Grabbing another bottle he gulped looking away. A few minutes passed before the door burst open and Lennox stepped in. Grimacing at the sight of both the idiots. "One of Alonso's men just got his consciousness," Lennox said and their ears perked up. Within seconds Hunter was on his feet stumbling a little because of all the alcohol in his system before stepping out of there. Agatha stood outside the warehouse staring stoically at Hunter. She has opened a portal for them.
