Red Rover

Red Rover

Others close in from behind, but I’m locked on the horrors in front. “I am Chernobog,” the bone giant growls. “I am Sekhmet,” the lioness hisses. “I am Hel,” the half-skeletal woman says, her teeth clicking as she speaks. “We wanted you to know who’s sending you to your death.” Gods of death and destruction. Fantastic. They unleash their powers. Chernobog conjures spears from thin air, growing larger as they hurtle toward us. Sekhmet cups a sickly green mist in her palms—pestilence, thick and oozing.

What Survived The Burn

What Survived The Burn

“Smart. Hide it in habit. That’s how they trained young minds.” “Any major standouts?” I asked. Andy nodded, a little too fast. “The history section.” I raised an eyebrow. “Yeah?” “It’s not just world history. I found timelines on werewolf wars, vampire treaties, coven migrations, hybrid purges… and something that looks like pantheon lore. Like, actual accounts of god and goddess activity.” My lips parted. “Say that again?” He pulled a thin volume off the top of a growing pile and handed it to me. The title was in an old dialect—one I could read only because of the Goddess blood thrumming in my veins. Divine Imprints: The Last Age Before Silence.

Design of Fate

Design of Fate

That way, they would not have to worry about that while Brynn was recuperating, and the family was getting used to the new addition. The little trip to see Hecate had lit a fire underneath her ass, so she always spent a good portion of her day going over everything and trying to figure out what all we could use during the coven fight. The book was a how-to guide about dealing with Gods, Goddesses, and Demigods. There was no telling what bullshit Loki could have in store and who all would be affected. He was the God of Mischief after all. A flare of pain through the bond snapped me out of my thoughts.

I have enjoyed the supernatural diversity in this universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's take on Fae as seen through "Fated Soul - Fated Light". I loved learning about the Nabellos and sphinxes in "Fated Power - Fated Destiny". My favorite are the vampires in this book.

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.

Rejection and Marriage

Rejection and Marriage

They gave the city a really nice glow. "There were three gods" He started, "Hapoda, god of witches, she was the only female. Valarus, god of vampires, and Eridal, the god of werewolves. To create neutrality of power among the three god, there was Alocaus, god of the three gods. You understand what I'm saying right?" He turned to look at me. I nodded a yes even though I didn't understand a thing. Even if you explain this a hundred times, I don't think I'll understand so let's just move on to the important part. "Do you remember anything now?" He looked at me with suspicious eyes.

A Queen Among Tempests

A Queen Among Tempests

I argue, her revelation sounding more confounding than awe-inspiring. “Come on, Orenda, think about it!” she exclaims, frustratedly slapping her thighs. “The God’s are just energy. Their body’s only exist because they used their magic to create them. Just look at your own animai – or former animai, I should say,” she corrects with a taunting smirk. The reminder of my mutual rejection lances through me like barbed wire. “Azadou was made because of a manifestation of Jartre’s magic; you said so yourself. His body and the body of every other God is just a giant meatsuit. Their blood isn’t blood the way yours or - more accurately - mine is and doesn’t hold the same function. Their blood is reall

Jack Frost's Bride

Jack Frost's Bride

The crops failed more, the spirits thirsted, and the deathless maidens haunted the outer boundaries, hunting for ungiven comfort. It was time for Baba Yaga to tell Morena, her dearest godchild, a heartbreaking truth. They had sent a fetch in the form of a giant to Chernobog’s deathless lands with the fruit of that night’s labor, enchanted to wreak havoc on his palace of glass and ice and tear the oak tree of his heart from its roots. Each egregore and familiar that died at Chernobog’s hands infuriated him more, and drew him further into no man’s land, where they might strike him in earnest with spells and curses, but Chernobog was wily, and deathless to boot. It would take a mortal to kil

The Third Book

Hyun said. Cela's phone starts to ring even before she could ask what Lora's call is about. Hyun went to the buffet table feeling better. "Are you feeling okay now, Sir Hyun?" someone from the team asked. "Never been better," he answered while looking at Cela who's now talking excitedly on the phone. "What's happening? I think something unusual is going on," another member of the team said. I guess we all know what it is about. Fourth book?

Mercenary W.O.L.F (Never Die Alone)

Mercenary W.O.L.F (Never Die Alone)

I kind of expect that we're going to have to fight eventually but I don't see anything and the forest has been awfully quiet ever since we started walking Kimora: I sense something very powerful nearby. This is definitely unsettling because it almost feels like a Deadic. Jourton: What's a Deadic??? Kimora: Deadic's are what you guys would effectively refer to as gods but here's the thing, they're pretty much just as human as anyone else and the crazy part is I basically live with two of them. this thing however feels very different almost as if it has a definition and that on its own is concerning.

Dragon: My Wish As A Dragon

Dragon: My Wish As A Dragon

forgot its exact name, 3rd after he pulled the evil pieces from his body and reborn as a dragon) So he's pretty much an anomaly who's able to cheat dead 3 times and that might be why he came to LD domain in the 1st place because the 'system' might think of him as either already dead or he became a species of Death God like LD herself albeit not pure Death God like LD. If its put to level LD understanding on the Dao of Death is lv.100 while he's still lv.1 Hades never fully understand it hence why he become a part skeleton and you could say he's false death god.
