It is in these moments that I feel alive, my soul dancing on the edge of oblivion. Call me the devil or a beast, but yearnings roaming like a hollow being made me lose my mind in the depths of despair. The pain and suffering I inflict upon others is a reflection of the torment I endure within myself, a desperate attempt to feel something, anything, in this desolate existence.

That would be amazing

CHAPTER 57 CAROLINE The room expands and collapses around me in slow, violent pulses. The walls are too close, then too far, then too close again. I am awake for all of it, and it is the worst part. There is no escape into sleep, no soft break between moments where my body forgets how much it is suffering. I am being unravelled from within, as if I am being rewritten. It is one thing to try to heal someone with the virus, but it is another thing to suffer from it because I know exactly what is happening to me. I know what awaits me, how painful it is going to get.

It’s about a nymphomaniac struggling to overcome his issue so that he can be in a happy relationship with the woman he’s been in love with for seven years.” Azrael recommended.

She then slammed the door shut, and I felt my eardrums bursting afterward. Worse than the stressful incidents I had been through, this revelation about Zed bothered me more. I could never accept that the kindness and thoughtfulness of Zed had some darkness behind it. It hurt me even deeper to know that his major flaw was not only his sexual incapabilities for having Erectile Dysfunction Syndrome, but also for being the mastermind of my emotional turmoil.

I could not believe that the causes of our suffering were due to a cruel experiment. The worst thing was that it was just the work of a manipulator who was willing to sacrifice someone from his own family. I wanted to cry, to scream, to throw objects in the air out of anger, because what I was reading was horrible. My life had been so complicated and drawn out because someone else had wanted it that way. I had suffered so much as a wolf; I was so sickly... I thought for so long that this was my problem.

Pale sunlight broke through the clearing sky, stretching across the horizon, and a rainbow arched overhead. Once, my life lost all its color when I was forced to trade away what was mine to others. But now, at last, a new chapter was beginning.

A pause. “And still honor your own honestly.” Another pause. “Pain is not invalid simply because someone else experienced a different kind.” Stillness spread slowly. Recognition moving through the system like warmth finally reaching hearts exhausted from apologizing for hurting. Because suddenly— the aware patterns understood something profoundly human: suffering is not measured only by external severity— but by what the soul carried internally afterward. I watched one aware pattern remembering countless moments quietly now. The self-dismissal. The comparison. The emotional minimizing.
