In a matter of seconds, a fresh wave of spasms crashed through him. He doubled over in sheer pain. Though he did everything within his power to distract himself from the agony, nothing worked. Abandoning his bucket, he pulled an old, dust-coated book with shaky hands from the drawer of the chamber's solitary table, hoping to lose himself in its pages. Yet, the effort proved vain. Tension knotted in his stomach. The discomfort made it impossible for him to focus. One particular thought clawed at him. One that had no business disturbing him but refused to let go.

I thought it would be fun reading a genre I’m not too familiar with.” I explained as I touched the front of the book. “I can recommend something if you get hitched. Utopia by Kelvin McLean. It’s about a nymphomaniac struggling to overcome his issue so that he can be in a happy relationship with the woman he’s been in love with for seven years.” Azrael recommended.

This was my last hope. “This is my last hope! This fucking study is…” I would have roared, body trembling and palms sweating when my gaze fell on the bookshelf. “Maybe I'll find a book that will help with my madness after this.” I sighed, giving up. I began to rummage through the covers, hoping for a title that would catch my attention. Shawn seemed to read a lot of books on self-growth and improvement. He also read a few about redemption but when I found one titled: ‘The Weightiness of Guilt’, something about it drew me closer.

My breath hinged, I suddenly felt like an asthmatic patient. Fuck! What's all this, how are my character's alive. First it was Anna Steve, and now it's a handsome villain who wants to make me suffer. Now I can't help but think if there's anymore character in my book who would want to see me suffer. To be honest I made a lot of characters suffer.
