His Warrior Luna

His Warrior Luna

"My sea of consciousness is full of cracks and there is no hope to heal it. That happened due to the backlash of the method so don't come crying to me if you end up in the same situation, you've been warned." Sara could not help but imagine the life of the man in front of him. 'He lives with a cracked mental sphere all the time. No wonder he ended up in such a state, he must be in constant pain and yet he keeps on living.' She had tasted the suffering from a damage on the sphere, he knew how painful it was. 'He is indeed praiseworthy for managing to stay sane.'

The Mafia's Bride

The Mafia's Bride

Content Warning: This chapter contains depictions of sexual violence, which are necessary for the story’s progression. Every detail serves a purpose and is not intended to glorify or justify violence in any form. Reader discretion is advised, thank you. Chapter 63 Annalisa I used to think pain had a limit. That the body would eventually shut down, fold in on itself, and drift somewhere safe when things got too unbearable. But it turns out, I was dead wrong. Because pain wasn’t just a sensation—it was a living, breathing thing, wrapping itself around me, digging its claws into my skin, whispering in my ear that this wasn’t even the worst of it. I wasn't even close to the worst Giovanni could

The Alpha's Bargain

The Alpha's Bargain

Someone who mattered personally rather than simply professionally. "Light," I said, working to clean wounds that were deeper than they'd appeared through blood-soaked fabric. "As much as you can bring. And maybe something to bite down on—this is going to hurt." Hurt worse than whatever he was currently experiencing, which already seemed to be testing his capacity for maintaining consciousness. Pain that would spike during treatment that was necessary but excruciating. Agony that would require endurance that exceeded normal human tolerance levels. Suffering that supernatural constitution would make survivable but not comfortable.

Crimes and Punishment

I left Aaron for the meantime on the part where the fountain pens are to go to the novel section. Since I saw Sophie Lark's Brutal Prince on TikTok's recommendation, people who have read this say that it has a strong female lead. I enjoy books of that genre, therefore I may be interested in reading it. I looked at the shelves. I also picked up a book and read the synopsis on the back when Aaron came to me here. "You like reading books?" he asked. I turned my eyes on him, "Uh, sometimes. If I'm interested in the plot," I answered.

Punished by His Love

Since there was no way to escape, then they might as well just accept it calmly. He smiled at Jane calmly. “The majority of the people in this world are born to suffer, and their lives are just miserable. We are actually happy, aren’t we? “The heavens had tormented me for such a long time, and I lost my wife and child. However, the heavens let me meet you. We can keep each other company and die together. Then, at least we won’t be lonely when we’re on the other side. What do you say?” Jane nodded. “Yes, Noah. We’re very miserable, but also very content.”

Excellent! I have been reading this book for months and I can’t put it down. I enjoy it and wish you would not make me wait so long to continue reading the next chapters. It is repetitive a lot but I can skip over to get to the important part. I will give you a 4.5 because of the repetitiveness.

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SEDUCTRESS

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SEDUCTRESS

ANGUISH CHAPTER 46 [ When we thought that the world is cruel, we soon realize that it is much crueller—there are darker corners that devour one until none was left, and then all would be drawn, it’s either blood or tears....] Excruciating agony that travelled across is weird. Unseen, yet painful. The distress it brought were like a disaster that destroy many. A lot of people who had suffered, if not left abandon by the world, take on accounts some things to the extent of losing theirselves to how harsh it can be.

Dirty Deals With The Devil

Dirty Deals With The Devil

The things happening to me were enough to drive anyone to the brink of madness. I stared at the open, leather bound book, The Devil's Bible, that I had been writing in a felt as though I was slowly losing my process and train of thoughts. I placed down the black pen to look at what I had spent the whole night writing, it was completely unreadable, meaningless like the rest of the writings in the book.

she asked. “You call this suffering?” I chuckled under my remaining breath. “My soul is marked with countless bruises. True suffering…” Before I could continue my sentence, the door opened, and Kylo came running. She stopped and looked at me with a horrified face. Her knees were trembling and her tears flowed down her cheeks. Her hands were shaking as she covered her mouth in shock. “True suffering is failing to conquer your greatest fear and regret not to do what you could have done. This is nothing compared to the life I chose to live and the person I chose to become,” I said.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

Four Alphas One Revenge

Four Alphas One Revenge

The cold faction remained calm. “Emotion also causes war, violence, and self-destruction.” “Yes,” I whispered immediately. The honesty rippled painfully through the network. “Yes, it does.” Nathan looked at me quietly. Understanding what I was doing. You couldn’t fight truth with denial. Only with deeper truth. I looked toward the emotionless consciousness layers. “You think removing emotions will remove suffering,” I whispered. The cold threads pulsed softly. “Correct.” My throat tightened painfully. “But suffering isn’t the worst thing humans are capable of.”
