No body was born perfect. In this type of arrange marriage, giving themselves a chance to understand each other is more important than trying to find the perfect partner. This is a good story but it's a little bit too fast on how their relationship was improved.

Alpha's Mage

Alpha's Mage

That time it was just a book, but now it's more like a prized possession. Did he buy it again because the series looked incomplete? Tristan was a perfectionist like that. He frowned. Something was telling him that it was not the case. He gingerly took out the book from the shelf. It felt much lighter than it looked. The texture felt different as well. Then it dawned on him as he felt the pages. They were not separate but glued together. With a pounding heart, he opened the supposed 'book'. It was a shallow box in disguise. His eyes widened as he discovered several documents inside it. He sat on the chair and placed the box on the study table.

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot

The Governor's Wife

The Governor's Wife

She reached into her clutch and pulled out a small, leather-bound book—cream-colored, the title embossed in soft gold script—The Perfect Wife: Grace in the Eyes of Society. She extended it toward me with a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. “You should read it,” she said simply. “Memorize the key chapters, practice the rest. It’s a useful guide. All Kingston wives have studied it. Including me.” I didn’t move, just stared at the damn, thick book.

May I ask dear author how far it is still from the ending? I am just asking because I am waiting for it to be completed first before I start reading this since I am a fast reader and I normally finish this kind of very good stories in 1 seating even I don’t sleep. I am just unlocking it for now

This story is absolutely amazing. It started as slow burn kinda, but gradually it picked up the pace and now it's so good that I can't drop it. More chapters please. I would recommend this book to all werewolf lovers. Riven and Layla, my heroes.

The ladies all giggle and Julie stands, handing a new bookmark to each of us. "Yes. We figured we'd get you ones that suited you a little better." she says. The new one is dark blue with gold lettering that says 'Real men read dirty books'. I smile and look over at Ev who's showing Harper his excitedly. "These are great. Thank you." I say just as Bri nudges me. "Oh! Tell them your joke, love!" Harper says excitedly. Ev rolls his eyes before addressing the group.

The Author: Back To High School

The Author: Back To High School

Dawn told Keenan. “Okay..” Dawn almost ran towards her bedroom and took a book from the box. She contemplated whether to leave a message and signature. ‘No, he might not like having anything written in this book. Or worse, he would notice that her signature is the same as the author’s.’ So she ultimately decided to give the book brand new as it is. But she slipped in a bookmark. “Here you go..” Dawn handed him the book. His eyes widened. He brought the book to his nose and flipped the pages without creasing the spine. He took a sniff and exhaled.

she insisted. “That’s not how bookstores work,” Alex replied. “It is now.” Edith watched them, amused. “Young people,” she murmured. “Always rewriting the rules.” *** By late afternoon, the bookstore had transformed. Everything was in place. Neat. Warm. Inviting. Alex stepped back once more, taking it all in. “This… feels right,” he said. Amara nodded, standing beside him. “It does.” There was a brief silence between them. Not awkward.

Doomed to Perfect Your Love Story

Doomed to Perfect Your Love Story

The place was decorated exquisitely and romantically, with soft lighting and gentle music drifting through the air. Celina sat next to Leo, holding a violin in her hands, while Leo sat at the piano, his fingers gliding across the keys. Their music intertwined seamlessly, as if they were meant to be. Their gazes met from time to time, filled with an unspoken understanding and tenderness, as if the rest of the world didn't exist and only the two of them remained. Applause rose around them, and people murmured in admiration. "They're both so talented. What a perfect pair!"

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve come across 'Perfect' by Rachel Joyce, a deeply moving novel that explores themes of mental health and human connection. Joyce has a knack for crafting characters that feel real, and her prose is both gentle and profound. Her other works, like 'The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry,' showcase her ability to blend melancholy with hope. 'Perfect' is no exception—it’s a story that lingers long after the last page.

Rachel Joyce’s background in theater and radio adds a unique layer to her storytelling, making her narratives immersive. If you’re into books that make you reflect on life’s imperfections, 'Perfect' is a must-read. It’s not just about the plot but the emotional journey she takes you on. I’d also recommend checking out her interviews to understand the depth of her writing process.
