I was unprepared for the sudden jolt so I jerked back and my butt landed first on the hard ground. "Ouch !" I cried out in pain, my belongings fell on the ground. Ignoring Luke and Kelvin's warnings, he blurted out, "Aren't you hungry, Boss? What's going on in that head of yours? Is your brain malfunctioning or something?" Happy too, but there was a sense of disgust because I had stooped to the level of these people. “Oh please,” A soft voice came out, and instantly stole everyone’s attention. “It seems you want attention so badly, because it’s silly that someone like you thinks she can stand tall.” Kenna spoke, and my blood ran cold.

He knew it was a lofty aspiration, but this insight didn't stop him from acting out his favourite movie scenes in front of the mirror. "I think someone's here," he said to Kayley. "We might have to find somewhere else if you want to be alone." As he spoke, the boys emerged, Edward first, followed closely by a nervous-looking Alfie. He tried to give the boy a reassuring look, but Alfie continued to blink rapidly, his chest heaving and falling like his lungs might burst at any moment. "Oh, err... hey."
