The silence that I had been intending to break stretched itself into an even deeper chasm of awkwardness. I sighed. Kevin staggered, his hands reflexively covering his ears. His 'Level 3 Synthetic Buff' gave him physical strength, but it did not make him immune to sonic attacks. "Argh! What is this?!" Kevin roared, his protein pistol wavering. "That's a modified version of the 'Sugar Disintegration Sonic Wave,' Kevin!" Riska shouted, her voice firm.

I dropped my juice box, still addicted to this thing. 'And you will never understand,' I said coldly, I picked up the mini ear buds at my side and wore it. The sonic shield pierced in, blocking out every sound. 'Now, enjoy my favorite music!' I shouted. I pressed the blue button on the arm of my chair and smiled. The sound to me was like a small incessant ringing but to them, it was a loud frequent wave, similar to a banshee's wail.

She quickly lean on Catherine's shoulder. "I got scared... Cathy". Muka added. Cathy lift Muka's head. Her bangs almost covered her face. Catherine spotted some trace of tears from her red cheeks. He was on one knee, his face contorted in pain from the sonic pulse. I grabbed his hand, interlacing our fingers, and felt the raw, jagged power of his beast looking for a way out. "Give it to me, Silas!" I shouted over the whine of the machines. "Push it through the link! Now!" Silas opened the floodgates. The power hit me like a physical punch to the gut, but I didn't let it knock me down. I channeled it outward. I raised my free hand, my palm facing the ceiling where the sonic dampeners were mounted.
