Novel & Cerita Book To Read On Vacation

I started reading books again. 4. TRAVEL AS MUCH AS YOU CAN I spent 3 consecutive months going in and out of the country not just to shop, but for a new environment for me to BREATHE. It did take my mind off things. Made me see the world still has so much to offer. 5. PRAY

She could still hear his laugh as she bolted out of the cabin. She spread the blanket, applied sunscreen, put her sunglasses on, lay down, and started reading the book. She could not remember the last time she gave herself a treat even as simple as soaking herself in a tub with a glass of cheap wine. She had good times with Spencer, but not like what she was doing right now, leaving the troubles behind for a while. She was engrossed by the novel she was reading. It was about a couple giving one another space. As they went out to meet different people, they realized what they’d missed out of their comfort zone as they wildly explored further.

That has never been my intention, so I let it slide. Throughout the flight, I find myself lost in the book. I have learned over these last few years that a good book is just the thing I need to relax. Leaving my life behind for a few hours and entering another world is something that gives me happiness. With work and my mother always on my back about settling down, I stay pretty stressed.

Intrigued, i decided to take the book back to the cabin to show Nikau. When i arrived back at the cabin, i excitedly showed Nikau the book, telling him all about the strange symbols and images that i had seen. Nikau was equally intrigued by the book, but nikau said that he would be leaving to check out on the pack for a few days. He asked me not to join him as he would be travelling in his wolf form. After he left, I settled into my cozy spot by the fireplace in the cabin, I opened the old book I had checked out from the library. The title, "The Lost Village of Ravenswood", immediately caught my attention and I was eager to learn more about this mysterious place.

I don’t have a phone I can use to reach either of them; I haven’t had a phone for days now. I flip the page of the self-help book which I’d grabbed from duty-free earlier, internally hating myself for not picking one of the other enticing fiction books I’d seen, but I thought about sleep, and the fact that I’d have to induce myself on this flight back to actually make it through, and went with it. It’s a book about the power of conversations, which I find ironic because of the situation I’m currently in, and because nothing in the past three pages I’ve read seemed helpful.

Here, I can truly unwind, surrounded by nothing but the serene beauty of nature. I reach for the novel lying beside me, eager to lose myself in its pages. Reading has always been my escape, a way to transport myself to another world far removed from my own. As I immerse myself in the story, the worries and stresses of everyday life fade away, replaced by a sense of calm and contentment. Days blend into one another as I lose track of time, my phone lying forgotten in my hotel room. I've made a conscious decision to disconnect from the outside world, to live in the moment and savour every precious minute of this holiday.

With that, Jack seemed to relax back into his chair. “Isn’t that what vacations are for? To have experiences that you don’t usually have in your everyday life?” he asked putting his menu down. I bit my bottom lip before answering. “I suppose so. Vacations are for experiences we don't usually have in our everyday lives. Most people don’t get to lounge around and eat bonbons all day, so that is a vacation for them. I don’t usually save people’s lives and meet handsome strangers who take me to dinner, so that’s my vacation,” I said.

What she has done for me was already enough and I don't want her to spend another penny for me and my silly escapade. "Don't be silly. It's a long trip. I want you to eat something." She said stubbornly and before I could stop her, she was gone. I sighed. Well what could you do? I thought as I slump on my chair. I grabbed one of the books that I brought with me and started flipping through the pages until I found my bookmark. My mind was suddenly pulled into the story as I absorbed all the words on the pages. Whenever I'm reading, I always feel like being sucked into a different word where I can become someone else.
