Probably because the shelf was old and creaky; any part of it could be affected if I touch any other. As I raised my hand to put back the book in its shelf, I noticed the book seemed different from the others. It was blue, and had blue stones on it. “hmmm.” I opened the book, and what I read, caught my interest. *MYSTERY WORDS CAN’T BE SEEN, BUT CAN BE BROUGHT TO THE PAGES, BY FIRE.* It was weird, but I turned to the next page, and it was blank. I turned to another, and it was also blank, until I flipped the pages until the end, and realized everything was blank.

Micha nodded in understanding and we continued searching through thousands of ancient books. Then we saw it. Another book—this one titled: "WARS OF THE REALMS." We looked at each other, excited. But we braced ourselves, afraid it would be blank like the first. I opened it— And the book didn't open. The cover was iron mixed with wood, heavy and old. I tried again. Nothing. Micha suggested we burn it. Maybe melting the metal would open it. So we threw it in the fire. Nothing. Not a scratch.

I'm on the last bookcase just as it's starting to get dark. When I try to pull the books off the bottom shelf, one book seems stuck, but I can't tell why. It's not oversized or wedged into the shelf or anything. I pull hard but it doesn't budge. Bending down I realize it's a fake book that when all the other books have been removed it slides to the side, opening an access panel. Behind the access panel is a combination lock. I jump up, get the other slip of paper and after several tries of left and right combinations I open the lock. Inside is a small device that looks like an IPOD with ear buds attached to it. It has a small LCD screen and a thumb wheel with a button in the middle of it. I
