Wednesday June 22nd, 1977 I found something neat about the book. No one has written in any of the pages yet (except for me). Or so I thought. I found a secret flap at the back! Under the flap there's writing! It says "My Name is Zozo". That's a strange name but I really like it. My name is strange too.

Councilor Zeph came in panting and under his arm was a silk bundle. "Forgive my intrusion my Alpha." I looked at him and smiled. "Zeph, Zeph, Zeph. What a pleasant surprise." He immediately fell to one knee and offered me the bundle. "It has been done my Alpha. Your victory is certain." I smiled and took the bundle. The silk was rich and exquiste and my heart was skipping beats. I tore the silk away and looked at the marvelous book before me. "The codex." "Yes Alpha Zane." I stroked the book's intricate cover. It was truly a wonder to behold. Tiffany walked up to me and glanced at the book in awe.

Opening the door slightly, I peeked through and saw he was almost at the elevator. Not wasting any time, I went to the book I needed. Once in my hands, I put in the code Luka gave me. It accepted the code without fail. Inside the small compartment was a flash drive. Taking it out, I quickly put it in my bra, where it would be less likely to be found. Thinking I heard something, I closed the book and returned it to the shelf before rushing back to the couch. Just as I sat down, the door opened, and Zane walked in. I wasn’t sure how he returned so quickly, but it wasn’t important. I had what I needed.

Louisa comfortingly held Zaphrina's hand. "Thanks. I want the book to focus on the metamorphosis of the child's character with age and how parents or guardians can deal with it. A step-by-step something. Hmm, that reminds me, I have to meet with an editor this evening," Zaphrina sipped. "Jiz, when did the bottle swerve to me? Sorry, I stole your spotlight, back to you, Lulu."

He added. "The Sacred Book of Truths," She answered as she stares at the road to he surroundings. "Ohh, what is that book?" Zaykee acted as if this is the first time he heard of it.

“Seriously, Book, this place is almost as old as you. Why don’t you use some of that money you used to steal and buy a nice place? Maybe one without a fucking roach infestation.” The critter unleashed a fresh memory, Zoe’s sleepy voice confessing her lie of his occupation. His stomach flipped, his throat thankful he had nothing left in his stomach to expel. Booker’s voice snapped his from his thoughts. “Listen here, kid. Money’s meant to be spent on fine women, fine whiskey and some good ol’ fashioned drugs. Why would I spent good money on a nice place? This works just fine.” Kicking the front door shut, Booker dawdled to the sofa, falling into it. It creaked almost as loudly as he did.

Zoey said softly, before her daughter released the book onto her hand. Together, they flopped themselves into the couch, Zoey took a deep breath, before flipping the pages. It was exactly the book that they were looking for when they went to Aunt Violet's house. The book was missing when they reached her bookshelf, so why in the hell was she holding the same book? "What's the book about, mommy?" Zara peered her eyes into the book. Zoey turned towards her daughter, "It's a record of all the Harts finance, Harts children, and everyone who's registered under the name, Harts."

I returned a favoring smile to her by doing it genuinely before I took the book on her soft palm, an almost thick book with a blue cover. The book is heavy. On the front cover, there is a closed eye with long black thick lashes in a form of feathers placed inside a pentagon. Outside the badge has a wonderful abstract ocean and sunrise. Below it, golden embossed letters are shining to make its cover spectacular: BOOK OF A ZONER "Begin reading from page two to page five," Psyche said to me, stopping me in amazement. So I did what she wanted me to do. I flipped the pages until I reached the second page of the book. I started reading what's on it.

I accepted Annelise's invitation and visited her at her work at the mall. She used her amazing and long lunch time to show me her favorite stores, including a bookstore whose shelves reached two floors of the building, and the characteristic smell of new and never used books filled the entire environment. I myself was strongly influenced by the unique atmosphere that a library or bookstore can offer, and I ended up buying half my salary of books that would require a lot of strength from my arms to carry them. Also inside the bookstore I was introduced to one of her best friends, Zylah, a very thin and tall girl, with dark blonde hair and green eyes, and the only attendant in the whole store.

"Why are you bleeding on a book? Is this some kind of weird ritual?" Micha and I exchanged a look. Right. Zaki wasn't supposed to be here. "Uh… Zaki," I began carefully, "could you maybe—" Before I could finish, his phone rang. "Oh," he said, checking it. "Duty calls." The moment the door shut behind him, Micha and I let out a breath of relief. The Living Book trembled. Its pages flipped open violently, golden letters rising into the air, glowing softly. > "I must say… it has been a while."
