A mermaid shouted as her eyes turned into monstrous one. Their voices are horrible especially their looks. What is in the book is true. Mermaid has a very beautiful and enchanting voice that can attract and hypnotize males and females, just like they did with Ataraxis earlier. Their beauty is like a goddess. But it becomes the opposite when they are on the ground.

Before Amorivia could hold the lost boy's hand, he flew away and now she's alone. Scared of what the lost boy told her about the mermaids. Rhea’s eyes narrowed. “Why are you holding that?” “It holds my secret,” Mermaid said, placing it into Rhea’s hands. “Take it.” Rhea nearly snatched it, suppressing a victorious grin. So the great Mermaid hands me her weakness on a platter? How stupid can she be? “I can only use my tail in water,” Mermaid continued calmly. “But if even a drop touches me on land, it will force the change—and I will die.”

There was a little beautiful mermaid in the sea with bright red hair. "Who is this?" I asked, pointing at the mermaid in awe and Jax peeked at the book beside me. "That's Ariel. She's the princess of the sea." Jax said and I gasped in awe, suddenly interested in the book as I laid against the floor, dangling my leg above me as I swiped to the next page. There was a picture of a roaring sea and a dark woman who appeared like a witch. I frowned, seeing the mermaid Jax had referred to as Ariel look up at the witch in fear.

She laughed, "Okay. I will leave them alone." Damien and I got in the Hummer with Ely and Eivin and we left for the airport. Once we were in the air, I asked Damien why they want us there. I didn't think we could offer much help. He replied, "They know you are good at uniting species. They want to ally with the mermaids." I smiled, "Sweet! We could do the same!" He agreed, "The Queen of the Mermaids lives in one of the lakes in Nebraska." I furrowed my brows, "Really? I would've thought she lived in the ocean or the sea?" He shook his head, "Nope. This lake is her childhood home, so this is where she feels most comfortable." I smiled, "That is so cool."
